Syria again

I  am beginning to disspare, I just think I will  not be able to watch these children dying anymore, it is bad enough to see adults being targeted but children, it is just not on, children are the future of the country they have to be protected, Asad has proved himself a killer, people are not found with their hands bound behind their back and shot in the head unless they have been executed, who are the likely candidates for these deaths it has to be government men, it has to stop, the West has to do something concrete and stop pussy footing about.

Still we talk, no action, it does not make sense at all, we sit in our brick houses in a safe democracy, they in a nasty killer state, who have not the slightest interest in human rights, step out of line and we will kill you, not just with side arms or rifle's but we will bombard you with the heavy stuff, you will not stand a chance but do we care "not a lot", we can blame you as terrorists, it is all you deserve, that is what we can say to the outside world !!, as it is we do not have to justify what we are doing, so as the world is not doing anything constructive we can carry on, no one on the outside of Syria could care less so it seems, the trouble being the people who do care do not have any authority to do anything about it !!!!.

Oh Dear the Syrians have been told to stop using heavy weapons, I am sure that they will, not a chance, it is really sick to keep blaming insurgents for the killing, once and for all they have to be made to stop, if this does not happen many more people will die.

I find it really sad that the World is not doing more to sort out all these countries that have dictatorships, Syria is at the forefront but not the only one, too many are killing their people by the bullet and by any other means, it is so sad to see ll this going on while the West sits on its hands, mainly because most do not have the one commodity that just might help them "OIL", means everything to the Western governments, the rest no matter how bad it is can go run, this for my mind started when the USA thought it was being clever failing to support the British over Suez, we are now expected to cover for the USA in the Middle East, why should we loose troops, we whatever the government might say will get no benefit from this war, it will get drugs off the street  we were told, Blair used tis spin to get us in then did a runner, I just hope he can sleep at night.

How can this be so many children in fear of their lives, many badly hurt, many dead, what can the West do, much, I would have thought, but then considered opinion is that if you remove the present power base what do you get in its place??, the worst answer for the West would be the Islamic Brotherhood, who are trying to turn Egypt into a Muslim State, so why not Syria?, the USA is never going to accept Syria turning into a Muslim State, they have put to much money into the economy to see this happen, it is so sad all the ordinary people on the street want is Democracy, they have never had it and if the Brotherhood do manage to take over they will never get it again, all the deaths will have been in vain, the one thing that a Muslim State does not allow is freedom of speech and implements laws that came from the dark ages and that is where they should stay, the worst thing is the oppression of women, no man in this world can say he is above a woman, we are all equal, I have to say as well that honor killing is misnamed it is Murder nothing else, again no man or woman can force their child to marry some one that they pick, it is the right of the girl to decide who she spends her life with !!!.

Egypt Elections

Egypt having  its first election for years where they do not know who will win, that is great, I hope that they have the startings of a full democracy, but I really do not think the army will let a civilian take full control, although the election for once is not rigged the people will not get the full democracy that they deserve, I am worried that the religious aspect might just take control and turn it into an Islamic state and all that means, I really hope that does not happen the people deserve better they have been under a dictatorship for years an Islamic state would just take over and will without a doubt be just as much a dictatorship as they have suffered for years, religion whatever brand should keep well clear of politics they do not go together.

The really sad thing is that all these people were queueing up for hours to vote in  this country so many sit on their hands and say they are showing their contempt, if they had lived under a dictatorship; they would be queueing up as well !!!!.
