Benefits and Education

Tomorrow is 1st April, we all know it is April Fools day, did the government specifically pick this day to expect us to take the new benefits as a joke, it seems not, I notice that several churches have come out against the implementation of the new benefits system, many housing associations have warned that evictions are bound to increase and many children will be forced under the lowest level of living standards, is that an acceptable situation?, is it right that their education will suffer, lack of food, good clothing, and books ?, no of course its not acceptable, tell your MP you are not happy with the reduction of benefits, not only does this affect the unemployed it also affects the employed on low wages, the other stupid part of this is the fact that benefit is going to be paid monthly not fortnightly as it is at the moment, just how are a family going to cope?, in all honesty they will not!!.

Then we go to the teachers!, who seem to think they are better than all of us and should be treated as a special case, well I think not, many teachers are inadequate how if this is the case are they still employed teaching?, the children who pass through schools who have these teachers are not up to the standards that are required, they are poor at maths and English so that other teachers have to do a job that should have been done in a Primary School, so do not expect any support from me, schools as far as I am concerned should remove these teachers if the can't improve, our children's future life depends on the education they receive, it is not acceptable to just mill along doing nothing action needs to be taken now before any more children miss the education they deserve. 

Syria

It is really sad that this rebellion has now been taken over by all and sundry, the righteous has been taken over by all sorts of scum of the middle east, there are no freedom fighters left now it is just about an all out battle for the sake of battle, these people enjoy killing, in reality the whole lot are just fighting just for the sake of fighting, you hear about men being dragged out on to the street to be executed in front of their children, women being raped in fact gang raped, they know they are safe as they are holding the gun, when all this ends they will melt away into the mist of time to reappear at the next available war, what a joke this all is, my felling's are directed towards the children, just what is going through their minds? the pain must be awful, then we have the despicable rapes on defenceless women, what must be in their heads?,  this is really not an acceptable situation the West for some reason just does not want to become involved everyone just sits on their hands and buries their head in the sand hoping that it will all go away soon, unfortunately it won't! so shouldn't they do something soon?, I would say a great big YES.

Benefits

So we at the start of the new benefits as from Monday only one credit, but hold on it is not quite working yet, the computer system is not working as it should so it is going to be unfolded over time, Duncan Smith ought to be ashamed of himself, I was reading the "I" this morning and came across a very interesting article regarding these benefit changes, it said that as it is the fault of the poor in this country that we are in such debt, not the banks fault or the money grabbing rich, so the poor have to repay the debt that this country owes, so the decision of this government is too bleed the poorest people in this country also the disabled and the old, what a great idea it is to pay rent to the tenant rather than the landlord, just what does Duncan Smith think he is doing?, these are poor people will they pay their rent or will they feed their family?, if they feed the family it will result in many evictions in the future, family splits and then these mothers and children will be thrown on to their local council having to put up these broken families in hostels through no real fault of their own the blame has to be lade at the door of the government, it is all well and good if you are in work it will not bite you, but we all have to be aware that this is a very dangerous situation, we will be more like the US having to have food banks in every town in the country, this will be something that we will be unlikely to recover from, thank you industry your insistence of employing foreign works has brought us to this I hope to God that I am wrong but the facts point to me being right, so I have to say to David Cameron and Co, get off the back of the poor and be more understanding of the needs of families and of course children and stop being the nightmare that these people are suffering.

Jordan

What a surprise, we have to thank our Law Lords for their total and utter stupidity, why is it that we allow people who are a criminals in their own country live in this country, yes most of the time in prison but again he is allowed bail, then it seems he still manages to promote violence against the West, what do our wonderful judges decide?, if he was sent  back to Jordan they just might use evidence obtained under torture consequently his human rights might be abused, well if he was just an ordinary person I just might agree, but when you have some one who preaches death and destruction to the West it seems to me that he forgoes his human rights, he should be sent back without delay, I am sick as a tax payer that my money is either supporting him in prison or paying his defence lawyers, he has cost this country millions of pounds, we pay for his family to live here and support his children in school, for God's  sake what is it all about, it is time that these judges should be made to see just what reality is with the public who pay their wages, we do not want to pay for his accommodation in this country he should be taken and put on a plane to Jordan and then take the possible flack from whoever later when it is too late to do anything about it and for once we will be seen to be a country that will not accept religious zealots who wish to spread hate against the West, we should put up a notice at points of entry, "you are not wanted here!!". 

Government

Further information regarding the position of immigrants,  the government are saying that these people will not receive benefit we shall see, it is nice to see that the suggestion that they should have a medical insurance on entry, what a surprise I am all for this it is not before time that this was implemented, if we go on holiday to Europe we have to have the means to pay for medical treatment why not people coming here to live or on holiday, at the moment we have a rule that no one is turned away payment can be given later what a joke this can't happen their governments are in no hurry to pay and they can just say no chance and we have no real way to get it back.

So where are we now, reality is, we have Rumanian  groups stealing metals, we then have people trafficking, cannabis farms, robbery, theft, burglary, Now I am aware that we have British people who commit these offenses but they get the might of the law, immigrants caught are bailed and then vanish, we should have a provision where by people arrested for offences should be held in custody and put in front of courts as soon as possible removing the opportunity to flee, they know that they will be released on bail so its just an acceptable part of their lives, they know that they can just vanish, just go home or hide and carry on, they are laughing at us we are seen a real soft touch, we need to become harder in the way we treat them we have to accept  that they will run if bailed so don't bail them we have to be able to hold them and remove them from this country as soon as possible, the cost of this should be recovered from the country of origin, why should we pay??.

Government

I have to say that the new idea as to make any immigrant wait two years or more before they can be placed on the waiting social housing list in their town of their choice, I am not sure that this includes immigrants from the EU, I see that some in authority i.e. Lords of this country think this is disproportionate to the problem, as does one of our Bishops, they just do not seem to be able to understand the situation as it is, the anger of local people is that they see immigrants from the EU and the rest of the World seem to be able to obtain social accommodation with ease, that might not be the case but that is the way it is perceived, so it is no wonder that right wing party's are on the rise, it is easy to see as to why, many I meet have had Englishness knocked out of them, and the influx of Europeans, Pakistanis, Indians and black people are seen as to be able to work the system, over the years I have seen Pakistani males fiddling the election locally, many who have been given a home in the UK have cheated and stolen from us, Rumanian gangs are pick pocketing in London, they are also stealing metal and the police are at the end of their tether regarding the problems, arrest, Bailed and vanish, what a joke we are an easy touch, metal stolen from the motor ways and railways are putting our lives at risk but we can do nothing about it. It has got to end before something really serious happens and some of our more crazy people take it into their heads to deal with it themselves, a nasty problem if we are not careful.

I have to say that I have no problem with anyone who wants to come to this country work pay their taxes and live in peace with us, they are a massive benefit to this country and should be shown respect that they deserve who ever they are,

Government

I have to say that the government has lost the plot, on top of trying to destroy the NHS, the welfare state, the police, the fire brigade, the coast guard and just about everything else, I now have to listen to the deputy prime minister sprouting on about immigrants having to pay a bond up front before entry is allowed, immediately the human rights movement were up in arms about this slight on immigrants,  for once would these people keep their mouths shut, they promote racism in this country why?, well because they are always on the side of the offender, they will defend the lowest of the low Why? because for some insane reason these people believe that the human rights of these people out weigh the Law of the land, so why is it I have to be very aware of my surroundings when I am out, I am confronted by  foreign people on the street who are drunk and abusive, block my way on the pavement, I have to take my life in my hands on the road with people driving on the wrong side of the road, I could go on and on, but it is just a loosing argument, what am I?, just a loyal citizen on England I pay my taxes, I behave properly on the street, I have served my country, and I have to say when I served abroad I abided with the laws of the country I was serving in and always showed respect for the local population so is it too much to ask to receive the same from these foreigners who have inhabited this country of ours, it seems not, I have to watch my home town being invaded by every Eastern European country that you can name, they show no respect for me and the rest of the population, I believe that the police will collapse in this country because of the level of crime perpetrated by some immigrants cable theft, robbery, theft, shoplifting and people trafficking, what next I ask, I know that we have some of our home bread criminals but we do not need to import them we have enough of our own, it is about time that the population made a point to the government and the human rights promoters is it not about time that you looked at the offended against and accept that they have human rights as well they are not excluded because they do not offend I am sick and tired of these do gooder's they cost us an arm and a leg in legal costs, why should we have to pay this for out and out criminals? I think not!.

Living in the UK

So we are not part of the country as many are not, we are not part of the inspirational nation because, we might be disabled out of work or old, because of this we are excluded from help from the state, we are labelled as idol or just plain lazy, many people are out of work not because they want to be but because they have lost their job through no fault of their own, they are searching for a job but there are none for them, they are not inspirational because that has been beaten out of them by their job loss, they want to work but just can't find employment.
Then there are the disabled, many are just not able to work because of their disability so what do they do?.
The elderly have no ability to work many such as me have spent their lives working, some of us have spent time serving the country in the Army Navy or RAF, many now have disability's and are unable to work, one difference is that these have paid in all their working life.
So we are left with the middle people, them that have left school with no chance of work, they are now unemployable, their dress sense is awful their personal cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, they have been brought up to expect that the state will look after them so they have no interest in obtaining gainful work, girls see the way out is to get pregnant and expect the state to look after her and her baby, mainly to provide accommodation, so again not likely to work.
It is the fault of successive  governments, they have increased benefits to allow the country to get in this position it is not my fault not yours, they sit in parliament arguing about nothing, so of no help to us, so my answer to them is get off your bum take a good look at just what is happening in this country, because as if we have not got enough immigrants now just think of how many are due to come at the end of the year!!!

Government Budget

Well we have had it now, it is a shame that they do not seem to understand about the reality of the position for people looking for work, now I understand the expectation of people to find work, but is that a possibility for many?, the answer is in reality NO!, so what are the government doing to force people into work, including the disabled, making them attend interviews at their local job centre, now I know a person who has  been attending these interviews for over a year, so are they working now NO, why?, because they can't get work it is not available to them, so what are supposed to do, they are ladled as idol by the government, how disgraceful is that, then the disabled I will just mention one disability        Terminal Illness are they fit to work?, ATOS say yes they are fit to work, well excuse me they are not, no one in their right minds would say this, so even if you are this ill just what chance with other illnesses that cause disablement?.
it is all well and good sitting at home saying make them work but work where and as what if there is no work just how do you make people work?, I have heard make them work in the fields farmers need workers, yes maybe they do but they employ through gang masters who employ people who will work for far less than the national rate so many that they  the British have no chance  so that kills the argument, employers have Masses of applications even for mundane work so you have one chance in 100 or 200 to even get an interview, so all this crap has to be taken with a pinch of salt, the government have no idea just how some people have to live or should I say exists, yes OK there are some that need to be taught a lesson but you can't lump everyone into the same category it just does not work, we have to understand and to have a little bit of understanding and compassion some people whatever we do will never work they are in all respects unemployable so this has to be taken into consideration what I am saying is that you cant bully people it just does not work to make people work you have to be able to offer reasonable paid work then you just might find that the unemployed figure is likely to fall.

I write this being a pensioner receiving a state pension a right not a benefit as I have paid in for 50 years, I pay income tax PAYE so my taxes are being spent the same way as yours, maybe I have more compassion than most,

NHS

Once again I am going to warn you about what is about to happen, your health is at risk from the 1st April, what a great day to introduce the changes in our health care, much was made of the fact that money would be saved by getting rid of the Primary Care Trusts (PCT) and the Strategic Health Authority (SHA), well not so as I have said before they are still there just under a different name, so  the old moved over to new jobs just a few have moved on saving some money but still a cost to the NHS.
It has to be said that commissioning health services is a specialised job so in reality they have to be there but the government should have not tried to pull the wool over our eyes, Andrew Landsley  who was the minister behind these changes was moved to pastures new, Why? has to be the question, I have no answers to it but I hope that there is a plan B in place just in case but probably not.

NHS

Is this for real now we have baby's dying through neglect by the NHS, all down it seems targets are one of the reasons, introduced by the last labour government, more taken up with meeting these targets than actual care to the patient, there can be no real excuse from anyone least of all MP's, for this disgraceful behaviour towards people, intervention by government ministers proposing changes that in fact do us the people no good at all, they are safe using private health care the rest of us can go swim, health care is an emotive subject, there is no room for interference by government, the service has to be run for the benefit of the people not the private health care companies, it is not surprising that  MP's are happy to see private health care dismantle the NHS bit by bit, I fervently hope this does not happen but I am not so sure.

This  Government has lost its way or has it?, this nastiness that is being aimed at the poorest and elderly of this country is an absolute disgrace, the MP's of the Tory party should be looking for a job come the next election, there are some people who are bleeding the benefit system most notably some eastern Europeans and some locals, it is all well and good saying that everyone should work but that is not possible, in some cases it is impossible to employ some types of people however much you might try, so what do we do leave them with nothing?, put them on the streets?, push them into stealing to survive?, how can this happen ?, why should we be happy for it to happen? I have been watching people on the street being interviewed stating that if you do not work you should get nothing, well think this out!, tomorrow a Friday your or your husband at work are told you are being let go today your services are no longer required, no more salary no income who pays the mortgage who buys the food, you try  and try to get a job but not a chance, this government could not care less you have become one of the people that the government hates you will now suffer no one will help how do you live? who cares? not the state young or old tough luck.

I have to say  we have the scum, they will never work come hell or high water, so what do they do if they do not get benefit they steal, rob, sell drugs take drugs making all or lives a misery will it never end?.

I think we are in the middle of a comedy event, cutting benefits but getting the wrong people, bedroom tax but getting the wrong people once again, chasing pensioners so some are making a lot out of retirement but the majority are not, I am not, I was OK but now things are getting a little fraught, not too bad at the moment but things are going downhill for most of us, one thing for sure is that a pension in in no way a benefit!! it is a right!, why so?, well I as many have paid in for 50 years or more so I have to say to the government get off our backs and be responsible towards the elderly in this country, Duncan Smith wants to get out of it, he has no idea as to how us common people scrape a living. 

NHS

We have to be aware that the government if we are not careful will open the back door to private companies to have the upper hand when submitting their application to provide a service for the NHS, it seems that the NHS will become fragmented and much of the services that you now receive in hospital will be outsourced to private health companies, we have to have the best service for patients I agree but how do we know that these companies will be able to provide a competent service to patients, they have to be on a level playing field it is not an acceptable fact that they should be preferred above the service that is offered as is.

The idea that GP's know best in regard to commissioning is a fallacy they do not, commissioning is a specialist knowledge so that was why we had the PCT, so the government has got rid of the PCT, well No in fact they have reformed under the new white paper as a Clinical Commissioning Group much of the same people different name, also the Strategic Health Authority is due to go but no it is still there just under a different name, so why all this turmoil your guess is as good as mine!!

NHS

Some common sense has possibly happened with the Government, after great pressure from 38 Degrees, hundreds of thousands of people signed a petition in a very short time, also many GP's and doctors petitioned the government, so the new rules will be re written to ensure that the private sector does not have a better chance when presenting during the commissioning  process, we have to hope this is now sorted.

NHS

I watched James Martin on TV yesterday morning, he has introduced well cooked local food for patients in hospital in Scarborough, proper soups made each day, meat produced close by, but there is a fly in the ointment!, NHS procurement rules, this stupid set of rules is stifling good quality food, this leaves most hospitals in the country cutting food budgets (staff) by using "cook and freeze" this is food prepared off site by outside companies leaving the food just to be heated at the hospital either steaming or microwave, so I think that this can only leave patients spending more time in hospital recovering, the answer has to be better fresh made food on site, this does not mean a rise in costs it can in fact make a profit for the hospital but more importantly better for the patient meaning shorter stays and a better outcome for them, we have to look closely at this I noticed that 70% of nurses would not want their family to spend time in their hospital that statement says loads, do the people who control the NHS listen? not likely, of course they know what is best for us!!, I think not!!.
