Queens Honours List

 The Honours list for the New Year, it makes me laugh that it is the Queens awards, who's leg are they trying to pull?, these are government awards to people who are in the know only a very few to the real people of this country who selflessly give up their time to help support all sorts of things in this world that does not attract government funding, people who work tirelessly year in and out for others their reward nothing, but others who have been well paid for their life time work that has only seen them getting involved as a matter of need for their profile, some do deserve it but others are just a joke, film stars, pop stars???, all seem to be able to attract honours not so for the general population, is it not abut time that the honours were given out to the people who have given themselves to help others not to people who have only done what they needed to do to get paid for their work, why should they be honoured? not for me thanks.

Weather amd Drunks an the NHS

What do we think we are with the weather?, I have a cousin in Canada where the temperature yesterday was -17 and snowing hard, he was saying to me that it would have to be very exceptional before anyone was not at work because of it, but of course we have a little snow and the country stops. I wonder just why that is?, why are we never prepared when we go out in poor weather conditions, the forecast often tells you to beware but we for some reason take no notice of it at all, it is not difficult to put a flask a blanket a shovel of some kind in the car with us, but no that is far to easy we prefer to cause mayhem on the roads, braking down not being able to carry on with the journey because we did not carry the equipment we just might need to get out of trouble, and then the next question is did we really need to go out anyway, our inconsideration means that some one else is inconvenienced the police, ambulance fire or the AA/RAC, we need to start to accept that we are never prepared for bad weather whatever it might be so we become the laughing stock of the world because of stupidity when it comes to travelling in bad weather, time to think before we act then just maybe we will be safe.

Would someone justify to me why it is that we accept people going out on a weekend with the sole intention of getting so drunk they are unable to stand let alone walk, this behaviour is without doubt self inflicted state of oblivion, who has to deal with these cretins why of course the NHS, why should they be treated? at no cost to themselves, only to us the general tax payer, I agree with a senior doctor that all of these people should never be seen in hospital A&E, and if they have to be the cost of this treatment should be paid by the patient attending, an ambulance costs good money to take them to hospital, cost of two staff the cost of fuel and the fact that it is out of service for any amount of time meaning one less ambulance unavailable for emergency use, then of course the abuse that these people pour on to staff is totally out of order, I feel desperately sorry for the staff on duty at all A&E units around the UK who will have to work on New Years eve they are saints and we should do something to stop this abuse of our NHS, it can't carry on looking after drunken idiots they have far more important work to do for people who are through no fault of their own sick.

Christmas

Christmas is the time of joy and happiness so why is it that people are killed in the most violent way, I am thinking about the family who lost 3 of their family in one go in the accident in Glasgow, just how do you as a family cope with such a terrible blow at Christmas time it?, is bad enough at any time of the year but at this time it must be doubly horrible!!.

People killed in road accidents all over the holiday period it is a terrible price to pay for a mistake by either you or someone else, and how do you live with yourself when you hit a pedestrian or cyclist and then fail to stop, the word flight and escape comes to mind.

Then we have City Link what a wonderful company, see everyone off on Christmas eve only to tell the staff on Christmas day that the company has folded and they are out of work, the bosses must have took a lot of time deciding on selecting the day, what they did is inexcusable to tell them on this day of all days is beyond sick it just shows the level of competence that the boss and his side kicks have, of course they are, I am sure well looked after they will mot be in tears, just the sickest present that they could possibly have given, who ever is responsible should be banned from  employing people ever again they are not a fit person to be allowed into a position such as an employer ever again!!!.

Christmas

Much to say but it is Christmas so all I have to say today is that I wish all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year will be back boxing day.

Immigration

Immigration, The home secretary is saying that se proposes to stop all students stopping in this country when their course ends and then apply to return to the UK for work, it is said that this is not the way forward, why isn't it?, we are talking about a lot of people and it is no doubt a back door way into the country, why else would there be so many fake colleges registering students that never actually attend any courses but then work out side the system, this then leaves them open to abuse by employers that see them as a meal ticket paying them a pittance  not the going rate, they are supplied with accommodation of a sort you would not want to live in, transport to work, consequently this can be a  massive charge at the end of the week for all these so called extras, I realise that the proper students are being head hunted by  industry that's fine but what about our kids just where do they stand in all this, of course employers are laughing all the way to the bank these foreign students they employ have cost them nothing to train or educate, the country of origin has paid for their education and the students have no doubt made  a contribution  themselves, our young people are being told that university is the way forward for them but in fact so many have a degree that is of no help at all, if we have these jobs that demand a very high education why are we not providing the proper training needed so that the young obtain the required skills needed for the top jobs that are available rather than dishing out these posts to foreign nationals, it is time in this country for a proper look at the education system and to tailor it to our childrens needs so that the future is secure for the people of the UK. 

Immigaration

Immigration, again this subject raises its ugly head, the home office have managed to loose in the system the equivalent population of Cardiff, just how in hell does this happen??, surely we are not that incompetent are we?, I should think that it is all down to Tony's open door policy that we are all paying for now, we have to have a system that ensures that their are the proper level of staffing to deal with immigration problems, it is crazy that there are over 2,000 people camping in Calais just trying every day to get into the UK, why?, having seen the interviews with these people they believe that England is the land of honey, free housing, medical treatment and a quality education, they expect housing and benefits to go with it why? because people traffickers are telling them so, why else would they risk their lives in such a crazy plan to get here, for god's sake travelling on the axel of a heavy goods lorry travelling in the UK at 56mph is just madness, in reality if they are asylum seekers they should apply at the land fall when they arrive in Europe, not allowed to travel from Italy to France without hindrance each place hoping to get rid of them, and of course they do not want to stop in these places not when utopia is just over the horizon England, we now have the French blaming us for the problems that they are experiencing in Calais, it has to be admitted that we are partly to blame because our benefits system is so attractive to them they are willing to risk their lives to get it, we catch a few but miss hundreds more, only a few lorries are searched at port of entry so just how many illegal's are in the country is any ones guess, but is has to be thousands, we for them and of course our benefit need an efficient system fully staffed and none of this silly bail that they give these illegals when at last they are caught, I know that many ensure that they have no papers at all when caught but that should not be a reason for their removal to be stopped, if you are illegal you are illegal and should be removed as soon as possible, this is not racist behaviour just the use of common sense, but unfortunately there is not much of that about in the UK and a massive amount of lawyers laughing all the way to the bank after claiming legal aid for people who in reality have no right to it.

Pakistan

Well believe it or not it is the fault of the USA for the death of the children and adults killed in the military school in Pakistan, how can that possibly be?, I think that the Pakistani  minister seen on the BBC news is desperately looking for a scapegoat other than the Pakistani government, but all the wriggling under the sun does not detract from the fact that the government were aware that the Taliban were likely to attack the school, but of course they sat on their hands and did nothing consequently so many dead children, it is not the fault of the US that this attack took place it is firmly at the door of the Pakistan Government, they have spent years placating the Taliban falling all over their selves to not upset them only to reap the horrendous repercussions of this policy, some has to tell them that if you give terrorists the slightest leeway they will repay you with death and destruction, the only way to obtain at least some sort of peace in Pakistan has to be the army running down these militants and bring them to justice to kill the body you need to chop off its head only then without a leader they become powerless, the people need and want peace not death and destruction every day of their lives!!. 

IS

Now we have Australia, hostages taken by one man they say at least 40, I watched the police make a statement that it was "heir intention to ensure the hostages safety",  well they did a good job there didn't they?, at least 1 dead many injured some seriously, just what possessed the police to storm the building, the hostage taker was in plain view of the window one marksman could have shot him through the window, but no in we go just like the COP's in the US, so many charged in the door that it was inevitable that hostages would be hurt some killed with a fire fight going on, how many men does it take to kill another to release the hostages without harm?, they looked to me that they were falling all over each other trying to get in the place then gun fire for a few seconds but many rounds were fired who is responsible for the death of one and maybe many others wounded?, the one thing for sure is that they will have all the excuses in the world to cover up this major cock up, IS must be laughing all the way to the bank, so much free publicity and a martyr (at least to them) talk about playing into IS hands!!.

The NHS

Once again we see that so many hospitals are having a nightmare at their A&E departments, many people who have nothing that could be called an accident  or an emergency are attending because they do not want to have to wait for their GP to see them, these people are costing us a fortune in the cost of attending A&E, it is in the least inconsiderate or in some cases criminal, hospitals have a time frame to deal with patients that because of these idiots it is impossible to be met making them underachieving, but it is not their fault at all, they are run off their feet most of the shift all to no avail, it is obvious that inconsiderate patients are wasting the time of very qualified people who would be better off doing there job rather than having to spend time with fools who are just wasting recourses and are verbally violent when they are told so, the NHS is a valuable asset we need to look after rather than abuse it in this manner.

Scotland

Just what is it all about with Scotland??, they have voted to stay in the UK but still want the lions share of the cake, I have to say that if they had voted for independence they would now ne looking at a massive hole in their finances as oil has dropped by 40%, BP are laying off hundreds if not thousands of staff, but that matters not to the SNP grab, grab  is the order of the day, the ex leader is now to stand for parliament as an MP (he was one for 20 years) he says he will be the power broker in the next parliament that's good considering he is not there yet, then we have his lady friend the new leader of the SNP who is a declared anti Royalist she will have to meet the Queen shortly so just what will she do?, once again it is people in power not having the slightest idea as to what the people think or want and worst of all not caring less!!.

MY Thoughts Today

I have been looking at these two men who have been to Syria for they said Jihad, these young men have this idea that it is fine to go and train as a terrorist, and then come back to this country as if nothing has happened, 12.5 years is a pretty long sentence it has to be asked if it just might not be a little to long, the government has to tell these young men that their actions regarding places like Syria are not acceptable to our law but to international law as well, the threat is now that as the Asian Community feel that these men have been hard done by they will not in future inform on them when they go to Syria, it is funny really they blame the police for the length of sentence do they not understand that it is nothing to do with the police but the judiciary, but I suppose when the reality of the actions of their children hits home they need somewhere to lay the blame the good old Police who are just doing their job is the best ace that it unlikely to attack back!!!.  

NHS

I am sorry that I am again on about the NHS but Ed Balls this morning on the Andrew Marr show saying that the Labour if elected next year will add £2.5 billion extra into the NHS budget, this he says will mean an extra 22,000 nurses and 8,000 GP's, just where do these people live?, they are not in my world at all, as I have just said the NHS just can't get enough nurses as it is so just where does the Labour party think they will get these staff from? then I have to say my GP Surgery has been trying to replace two GP's who have retired for 9 months and still haven't, as has a second surgery in the area, so I have not the slightest idea as to where they expect to manage to get 8,000 from is beyond me, I have an idea why not pay them a proper salary then possibly we may be able to hold on to the ones we have now rather than they leaving the service as they are doing now.

NHS

I see in the papers today that the NHS is recruiting Nurses from Europe, good you might say and so would I, but as always there is a fly in the ointment, most of the ones they have take on can't speak or read English, so what use is that ?, seems not to matter to the people taking on these nurses, one of my maim things that I promote in the hospital is Patient Safety, just how can patients be safe on a ward where the nurses do not speak English, part of a nurses job is to keep up to date with advances in patient care mostly done by e-learning, so why is it that we have so few nurses coming through that are British, well it is my mind sad to say nursing is a University Degree course yes they learn all about illness but for me the one thing many miss out on is working on the ward, many do not understand the word Care it is not part of the vocabulary of these new nurses coming through, the old SRN has gone as has the SEN, now when you visit a hospital you need an instruction book as to what all the different colour coats/jackets that they wear, blue, pink and all sorts meaning as a patient you do not have the slightest idea as to who you are talking too or of what relevance they are too your treatment!, all in all it is a real pigs ear, it really has to be asked why do we not have a grade of nurse in between a health care assistant and a nurse, some who would be a real asset to the profession are being passed by because they do not have the ability to study at university, but they would cope very well with a college on ward training, with out this sort of openings we are to be lumbered with highly educated nurses who have not the slightest idea as to how to care for some poor old person because they have never been told, so sad!!.

Immigration the dirtiest word in the British Language, but at long last some of the benefit claims of immigrants have  been recognised, I struggle to understand all these people on TV consistently telling me just what a big benefit to the country these people are, and they pay more in than the take out, I think that is just silly, many are in this country on their own  sending money out of the country to their families living abroad, nothing wrong with that as such but it means that money earned in this country does not get spent here, I would love some one to explain just how it is that immigrants can claim child benefit when their children are living in a different country that just can't be right, and again how are they able to claim Tax Credits?, I know British people  who have a hell of a job obtaining this help, this has to be sorted out, I keep saying the pressure on our schools and health services are not sustainable, we are an Island there is only so much room and I believe that it is time to put up the Full sign at the door. 

Syria

I had to laugh this morning seeing the news where these two Jihadists had returned to the UK, one with pictures of himself with an AK 47, plus many other pictures regarding the training he received in Syria, then the second one had 5 rounds of AK 47 ammunition in his luggage as souvenir's, they had a great defence "they did not realise that to receive terrorist training in Syria was a criminal offence in the UK" or that's what their lawyer stated in court, it is not surprising that the judge sent them to prison, the police said that they had many more in the pipe line, isn't that worrying?, are these people in the pipe line in custody or are they on bail?, seeing what Liberty has to say on the matter I would think that they are on bail, it is said that there are hundreds of UK citizens fighting in the Middle East, possibly killing, raping and torturing, if they return to the UK where are we going to hold them or will they be free to be at large in the country at liberty to carry on their trade in death, organisations like Liberty & Amnesty act in the defence of people who are being tortured and imprisoned illegally, but they have no right to defend people who have carried out the exact terrorists criminal activities that they so argue against in countries round the World but for some reason accept these killers back to the UK with open arms more concerned by their human rights rather than the human rights of the people who these people have offended against!!. 

Ebola

We have a major problem in this country regarding staffing of the NHS, we have not got enough nurses to staff our hospitals, in some cases this can be seen as at dangerous levels, we are importing nurses from anywhere we can get them from, so what do we now do? why send 1000 nurses to work on the Ebola problem in Africa, now I am desperately sorry for these people they do not deserve such an illness inflicted on them, but who else is helping?, Royal Engineers have been out there building hospital buildings,  the Army Medical Corps have sent staff to help, we have a charity pop record raising funds, people volunteering to go and help, just how much more are we as a Nation expected to give, I really, really hope that no senior person suffers over this commitment, we are coming to the middle of winter and we all know just how many elderly patients die over the winter period, so I hope that this depletion of staff  does not cause unnecessary deaths to our people, we have to draw a lie somewhere in the sand it might be time to do that now rather than later.  

UKIP

So another seat won by UKIP, must be a lot of racists living in the area, I heard a certain shadow minister last night liken them to the BNP, it is really sad that under no circumstances do these leaders of this country have the slightest idea as to what the population thinks and feels about life in England today, we have to thank the Labour party  for their open door policy for immigration they now suggest that there needs to be an immigration policy for the UK to restrict entry, so in my mind that admission  by both parties means that UKIP have been  right on immigration all along, when they think they are about to loose the trough that their noses are in they always reply with a vitriolic attack on the enemy, this country has very many educated people who fully understand just what is happening in the cities, they see with their eyes just what is going on, they have made an intelligent well informed decision as to just what is happening, this view is an honest view it is in no way racist in any way, but the MP's just think we are a bunch of idiots who do not have the slightest idea as to what governing the UK entails, well many of us do, many research what is happening they understand the silly games that the elite (allegedly) play, if you start at the beginning and do  not believe a word that they say to you, you  just might understand the deviousness of these people who rule us!!.  

NHS

I see that A&E units all over the country are being overwhelmed by silly people attending with what I can only call  silly problems, Accident & Emergency is literally just what it means, if you are not seriously ill been involved in a life threatening accident you do not need to attend A&E, a drop in centre or a minor injuries department is for you, please do not waste needed resource's at the hospital!!, you have a GP or of course 111 for advice, it is simple really, we have to be educated regarding A&E, I have been there in an emergency to see the place packed with people who without a doubt did not need to be there, and worse they get really stroppy with the staff when they are told that they do not need to be there, I think that it is time to charge for attendances at A&E if treatment is not required and you have effectively wasted the staffs time, but of course these same people who waste time will be up in arms if anyone should make them pay, we have a free service so lets keep it free for as long  as  we can, and these unthinking people who cause massive delays in A&E services should be educated and made to pay for their total disregard for the waste of money they are to us the tax payers.

Jihadist

Jihadists, well what did I say, we are looking to implement laws that can take these peoples passports away from them so they can't re enter the UK after fighting in the middle east, or confiscate it before they can travel to these places of war, I feel that it is acceptable to make them stateless and stuck away from the UK for possibly some time, it has to be remembered that these people have willingly gone to a fight in an aggressive war, imposing religious law on people who just want peace and some form of democracy, yes Assad is a dictator and needs to be deposed but that is not the responsibility of these people, it is not their fight, they have no time for democracy in fact they are a dictatorship of outlandish proportions, so you leave the UK, you join in a war that has nothing to do with you, you kill, maim and rape then the cheek of old nick you expect to return to the UK as if nothing has happened, and to make me ashamed on my country, Liberty are worried for these people as we are taking their human rights away, when will Liberty learn!!!!, these people have no human rights they left them in the UK when they decided to commit atrocities in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, where do the human rights of the dead civilians come into this equation??, people who commit atrocities in a war zone are liable to be tried by an international court, do not tell me I should worry about the human rights of these misguided people, they are and have committed the most hideous crimes and why should we let them back into the UK?, if Liberty and other agencies think that they should defend these people then I believe they should think again the people in this country have no interest in criminals such as these, they do not belong here and I would say as many others good riddance!!.     

Syria

It seems that the News has done a full circle, they seem to have had enough of IS the Ukraine (even though there is a build up of Russian Troops on the boarder if not inside Ukraine),  and many other conflicts, but now Syria once again it raises its ugly head, where has the original peoples army fighting for democracy in Syria gone?, they have gone into exile having lost everything that they owned, the fighting now is just by Jjihadist groups not only trying to fight the regime but worst of all amongst themselves these people have n interest in democracy at all, they will install religious law on these Syrian people, life must just be awful, one time you have a dictatorship then through no fault of your own you will be subjected to religious law, but these Jjihadist winning is a non event they will never beat Assad, he is no fool, he has been a dictator for too long to be beaten by these silly people, so what happens now?, more and more death and destruction to the people, neither side cares a jot for the population, neither their property or belongings, but the worst thing is that these mad men on both sides have no respect for life, men, women and children are fair game to them death matters not to them, the World has to be for once active in seeking justice for the people, the fighters of both sides need to be charged with war crimes but we all know they can kill with impunity because the World does not care in the least the attitude being as it does not affect me who cares!!, so sad!!.

Government

I am getting really tired of listening to the Labour party's rhetoric regarding UKIP, just listened to the leader saying that he understands the voting public, does he? I think that he is in a different world to me, I have to say UKIP are saying what I feel, Labour does not have the slightest idea as to what the general public are saying nor thinking!, that is true though of all the parties, they say they know but they don't, they all think we are stupid,  that is what comes from a private public school education,  they are told they are superior to us are they?,, they have no idea as to what is really going on, they do not see the queue outside the off  licence as soon as in opens in the morning collecting all sorts of alcohol, these are people of eastern European extraction, tell them that it is too early at 7am on a Sunday and you chance that all hell will break loose in your shop their main attack is violent verbal confrontation, it is quite fraught to watch, we have a brick wall opposite our home and have to endure these people urinating up this wall at all times of the day, it is extremely offensive even to me, reports to the police get no attention at all they have so many other problems to cope with this it seems a very low priority, I have been insulted by them in broken English, have had to endure language that I just can't understand and to be honest it is very intimidating, so where do us the people see the benefit of immigration??, we don't it matters not how hard they work some just refuse to behave in a proper manner in this country, will not obey the rules and the most upsetting for me is that they show no respect to me, my family,  females in general and the law, if some of these people in government had to live in the middle of all this crap going on they just might begin to understand just how difficult living in England is today, but of course they never will understand!!, so if UKIP says the right thing is it not surprising that they are getting on the crest of a wave?, things have changed I think British government has changed I really hope for the better!!. 

Immigration

Immigration, so all the promises we have been given about the reduction of immigration from Europe to the UK can not be capped, we are not allowed to say how many people we allow in, would someone please tell me the benefit of the 30% of foreign people who are serving  prison time in UK jails??, the police say that in London they just can't cope with the influx, the health service is suffering just as is education and just about all our other services, 
Then the European ministers have stood together and stated that the right to move from country to country is  a freedom where there is just no possibility of change, and whatever we are told the £1.7 billion we have to pay to the EU is they say non negotiable the French have very kindly offered us a delay from December this year till September 2015, what kindness, all these European polotitans telling the government that we should not leave the EU, they seem to forget that it is not up to the government the people will decide it is us they should be talking to us they should be asking to think again, I feel that as I am totally ignored by these buffoons running the EU, they should be very careful telling people not to do it often it has the opposite effect, they should be warned!!. 

Immigration

Immigration, so we are up the creek without a paddle, Germany has come out against any limiting of European immigrants, they say that Free movement of people is paramount to the population of Europe, unfortunately not to many want to go to Germany as most of them suffered under occupation during the war, many still have a deep seated hatred over the suffering they endured, so in my mind it is not for Germany nor the European Union to tell us just how many we have to have, we are an island nation  we only have enough room for a natural population, I listen to the need for more and more housing well where will all the houses all be built??, brown field is the first step next will have to be the green belt, when a number of new houses being talked about is 70,000, it has to be remembered, all houses will need water, electricity (remember we are talking about a service that is talking about blackouts soon), gas and of course sewage, just think if we are talking about 250,000 houses what will happen if this level of new houses are built, all in all we do not have the ability to take more immigrants to this country a line has to be drawn somewhere in the sand sooner than later, yes there might be people who would benefit this country so we should have a system that takes this into account, also we need to revise our welfare benefits that can be claimed by people coming into this country, this would stop the Eldorado look of the UK, then  looking round at the people trafficking prostitution and benefit fraud the cost to the public purse is enormous money that could be well spent on other much needed services in this country of ours!!. 

October 31st

I have lived in England for 68 years, but I have only just realised how ignorant kids can be, I have a poster on the front door supplied by the Police asking that our privacy be accepted and not to knock on the door trick or treating, at 9.30pm I thought that we had been left alone, but no idiots just have to not knock on the door but to bang on it for a good 5 mins, I have to be honest trick or treat has never been in my life, if you had done this sort of thing when I was young you would have been arrested, I am not at all against children enjoying themselves and doing this non British event after all it is from the USA why we have to follow I have no idea, then we come to a hate of mine, fireworks, it amazes me that the ordinary person on the street can buy explosive objects and let them off as and when they like, everywhere it seems they are sold at 50% off and that is at the start of what might be called the firework weeks yes weeks not days, keep your pet in on the 5th of November and the three weeks before and at least two weeks after the event, I served in the armed forces as an engineer working with explosives, the first lesson taught to me take extreme care when handling them, here we have young people and in some cases adults lighting them in the hand and then throwing them!! total madness, year on year it carries on people injured in this way, really a self inflicted injury but we all have to pay for the stupidity of the few, but nothing ever gets done to stop this mayhem, I believe that fireworks are for professional experts at arranged events certainly a good display at no real danger to you got to be worth it!!.

News

The news about the power for this winter is starting to get really worrying, we normally go through winter with an extra 15%  capacity of power, this year we are down to 5%, one power station goes off line we are in trouble, but not to worry we have wind power renewable!!, not a hope in  hell, we need to oppose anymore of these blot on the landscapes of this country, the capacity of a turbine  running full power is 7 days per year, yes 7 days a YEAR, , they are so inefficient they are in all honesty useless, no wind they do not produce power, high winds they have to be closed down or they will blow up, the green people among us have led us up the garden path, as with sola power as well, solar power! what is that?, power from the sun, the sun how many days in a year do we have strong sunlight? not enough, the government has seen the mistake that has been made and is reducing the payment for the power that they supply, of course they do not work at all at night, millions of pounds have been spent on these two the cost being born by you and me the tax payers in this country, do not be bluffed by this silly renewable mantra, the only way forward for power on demand is by gas and nuclear power the only demand fuel on offer, we can't rely on wind nor sunlight, logic has to say go with the tried and tested way rather than renewables, if not the lights will go out in the future that's for sure!!!.

I love to watch these MP's on TV talking about just how lucky we are that so many Europeans want to come and work in this country, how we just would not be able to do without them, they do not have the slightest idea as to what local populations know about living in todays world, they live in cloud cuckoo land, the worst thing for me is that we have no other choice than to put up with this stupidity, we the people on the street have to wait long periods of time to get appointments with our GP's not their fault I might add it is because they are overwhelmed with the immigrant population, I am fed up with hearing that care homes, hospitals and other related services would not run because they would have no staff, is this really a true reflection of the situation?, I really think not, the statement that they do jobs that we do not want to do, could that be because of the pay scales that are attached to this type of work are low??, if a job does not pay enough to be able to live you find other employment that will, it might be that you really don't want to do the work you are doing but to make ends meet you have to, there lies a difference between the government and us, they have an income that ensures that they are comparatively well off, not them for the job centre they are ok, so as always these people talk down to us as they really believe they are talking to people who do not have the ability to understand these problems, our eyes do not see the overall picture they think, I am really looking forward to seeing the election next year and hopefully many of these idiots will be off the gravy train serves them right one thing that we fools do no is how to vote!!. 

Immigration

Now we have the racist word of the week "Immigration", I am sick of these wonderful people telling me just how much the immigrants to this country are giving more than they take, now that could be true of some but please do not tell me people living on roundabouts and underpasses to name but a few, who spend their time begging thieving and demanding benefits from us also the demand for housing, how can we possibly cope with even more people, lets be green for a change all these extra people need Housing, Water, Gas, Electric and work, they need a GP, hospital treatment all this is a full stretch as it is, and, we have 2 million unemployed so where is the work??,

Again I hear the statement once again, that they are coming to do jobs that we will not do, that is just bull sh**,  they are hear to make as much money as possible, they are not here for our benefit but their own, yes we do need some people for certain jobs, we do  not need unemployed people from all over Europe, we have enough jobless here as it is, what do we do about the immigrants who are sitting in France??, who is going to deal with the problem?, no one as usual!, Then the green energy brigade are going to make the situation a hundred times worse with renewable energy, , the government has just about woken up to the fact that in this country wind farms and sola power are a total waste of money, if things do carry on as they are we are in for dark cold home shortly, forget about PC's TV's  games machines will just not work as their will be no electricity, you might call me all sorts of names but remember when it does happen just who warned you about it!!. 

Health Tourists

I keep o0n about the NHS but it will not go away, did you know people from Africa are coming to this country to obtain drugs at a cost of £20,000 a year, it is reckoned that each person arriving with HIV/Aids will cost the NHS £1 million over their life time for drugs for the condition this it seems can overall cost the NHS (the tax payer) of billions of pounds, how is it that people can arrive here with a serious illness and we being expected to bear the cost of their treatment, not only the drug cost but benefit claims as well, I am as caring as many other people in this country of ours but I can't accept any reason for us to pay for the sick of the world, the money being spent could well be used to give the staff their needed 1% pay rise, why is it that the NHS treats foreign nationals free of charge, a British person going abroad has to be insured or be capable of paying for treatment they  might need, at least they are insuring against an unexpected illness, these people coming to the UK are fully aware that they have a serious condition and deliberately present at UK hospitals knowing that we in our stupidity will cough up for their treatment.

The NHS just can't afford to go on in this matter it will not be long before the NHS is totally broke, it is time to stop this free treatment to anyone who happens to turn up, all entitled people should have a health card stating that they are entitled to treatment with the NHS anyone who does not meet this criteria has to pay either themselves or by insurance payments, no one in the world gets free treatment we pay for the NHS through Taxes so we do have an entitlement it is time to stop these non entitled people from accessing these services without paying for them or the government of the country of origin should be billed for the  treatment one of their nationals has received in this country, but Oh I forgot the silly human rights people who will jump up and down sprouting all sorts of rubbish to keep this free treatment to every one who are ill who happen  turn up on the door step of a UK hospital, I hope they realise that the service is at breaking point soon no money for anyone how does that look to these do gooders?? not at all acceptable for me and many more. 

The NHS

Does the government think that health workers do not deserve a 1% rise? it seems that they don't, just how do they think the NHS is going to be able to carry on at this rate??, people have to live. pay the bills, food and taxes, just how people survive without at least a semblance of a rise in pay, or is it a plan to turn the NHS over to private enterprise, I understand that the NHS has to be affordable but if you do not pay a reasonable wage staff start to leave, many to work for agencies some to emigrate to a country that welcomes them, in my location the hospital has just built a nurses home not for British nurses but nurses recruited overseas, why is this? because so many are so fed up with it all they are getting out of the job, I hear mad talk of GP's providing 7 days a week service!!! fat chance, there are no young doctors looking for work I know of two surgeries who are short of two GP's each and have been desperately trying to replace the gaps but realistically  not a chance, so all the promises by the government to increase GP's, Hospital Doctors and Nurses is just pie in the sky, in reality the NHS is being bled dry, investment is badly needed, unrealistic targets have to be removed and credibility restored to the profession, or of course we go all private service meaning we all have to have insurance to be treated, we as a nation needs to watch just what is going on or we might realise too late!!.

Just what is going on?, they say do not worry it will not be a problem, I seem to remember them saying the very same about aids, don't worry about it, so most did not and look what happened!!, so should we worry I think we should, but no doubt the government will bury their heads in the sand praying that it goes away, I am sorry to say it is in the world today and someone has to make decisions about it and for Gods sake forget about the human rights act and for once think about protecting us for once!!.

News

So much happened in the world over the past few weeks I do not know where to start, I have been unwell so have not been blogging for some time, but thinking about what has happened I think UKIP comes to mind, firstly the inability of the people at Westminster to understand that the face of government has not the first idea as to what the people in this country want or need, yes we need to try and keep within our budget but for me not at the cost of the poor and disabled, the DWP are a disgrace they do not understand the needs of people, they put everything in the way to stop them getting money that they need to survive, I am personally sick to death hearing government ministers referring to "hard working people" as if they are the only people that matter, well they are not, what about the people who daily work for the minimum wage under great stress but the government does not care in the least!!, we have local councils who abdicate their responsibility's to the elderly and the general population as a whole, we fail to help the needy but can still send 1 billion pounds to India in aid, this is a country launching rockets into space but does not look after the poor, I suggest that they put their house in order before we send monetary support to them.

We have the NHS in crisis why?, the Tory's know why, the stupid bill that introduced Clinical Commissioning Groups throughout the country, why? because GP's knew better about patients needs, what do we now have? what can only be called a joke, they did away with the PCT to save money but what happened the same people sat at the same desks doing the same job just had a name change savings NIL, the service is suffering and in some cases collapsing but who cares?  not the Government it seems.

So are we in for real change next year?  I hope so the two leading party's should be really worried but are they? not at all they still go along thinking that the population will not desert them! well I have some news for them ordinary people have had enough of all this game playing they want real people running the country for the benefit of the people not the banks and big business, I know what I will be doing!!. 

Scotland

Well thank goodness it's all over and am least some common sense has prevailed, it amazes me as to why the Scottish people hate the English so much, what have we done to them?, they have a problem with the government in London but that is not a reason to hate us so much or is it? I really do not know all the Scottish people I have ever met have been really nice people so why the hate?.
So will this be the end of it?  not a hope in hell it seems, this vote has caused a massive split in the UK it will never be the same again, we as English have had the rough end of the stick we seem to be forgotten about but just now after this vote it just might be that the English people will demand the same sort of benefits that the Scots have, we as the English people are the largest group of people forever being dictated to by the minority, have to say it is time for change we need to have some of the benefits that other people in this union receive, it is our turn now to be listened to!!!.

Scotland

I m just about fed up to the teeth with this bloody vote, what is a matter with them? are they mad?, well to be honest there are two people who definitely are the first minister and his deputy seem to be living in a different world to every one else?, he says they will keep the £ the chancellor says not, I know who I believe, I am not against them going independent they are welcome to do what they want but to part from the UK could well bring the collapse of Scotland, they will have to apply to become a member of the EU, they will remove the submarines from their base in Scotland, so the jobs will go as will the MOD's bases so many unemployed, still if you believe the first minister OIL will provide for them, maybe, maybe not!, this to me is just a stupid nationalistic group of people who think that the grass is greener on the other side, we all know just how wrong that can be, I just do not want to see a country decimated by idiots, if adults can't make their minds up what chance do 16 year old's have and who in  their right  mind ever thought that was a good idea to let them have a vote,, can a 16 year old have the slightest idea as to the implications of a Yes vote just may have?, I think not!!.

The Gren Party

I have heard it all now, the Green party are suggesting that the minimum wage should be set at £10 per hour who ever you are whatever you do work or not, then comes the real great one Prisoners should also get it too, just where would this money come from the only people possible the tax payer it is not possible to raise this sort of wage for everyone they also say that children should get it as well, now I thought they quite possibly be mad now I know, they think that they will become the 4th party behind Tory, Labour and UKIP, that might happen that is if every one goes into madness, what is going to happen over the next few years??, electricity we are OK now but it is just not possible to rely on renewables they just do not work, wind is not at all feasible, we need to have electricity on demand not just hoping that the wind is blowing and of course not to windy, the only people to benefit from these wind turbines are the business that are managing to con us all into paying massive subsidies to them for without a doubt an electricity supply that will not provide us with power 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so I hope that in the future you do not rely on frozen food because it is possible we just will not have any power to use, no cups of tea unless you use gas, no TV, Computers, games machines, without your own generator you will be as all of us hungry, tired and cold, this country needs to put a stop to renewable energy we are not far enough forward to effectively use the wind for our benefit till we full do we should leave it alone!!!.

Terrorists Belonging to the UK

I am becoming sick to death with the Liberal Democrats of this country, what is it with them that they spend their time defending the rights of terrorists, the last bit I herd is that it by taking their passports off them going to commit terrorist acts in the Middle East is abusing their human rights, and if you refuse them entry to the UK you are making them stateless, well in my mind we are not making them stateless they are doing it themselves, going abroad to kill, maim, rape and loot renders you nothing less than a criminal, no more no less, it is right to remove passport's of known sympathisers suspected of going to join the carnage is right and just, by keeping them in this country no doubt we will save many innocent people from these lunatics, it is true to say that we have offered many people a home in our country allowed them the benefits of education, health care and financial support only to have it thrown back in our faces, we are told we are racists ignorant our young girls seem to be fair game for these people, it is time that we as English were shown a little respect, if you do not like the way we live it is simple Leave go somewhere else in the World and see if you get away with your behaviour where ever you might go, I think not!, of course they will not go they know what side their bread is buttered on!!!.

Terrorists Based in the UK

I said this would happen! the governments proposal to remove passports from  known terrorist activists who are known to have been involved in terrorist activities in the Middle East on their arrival in the UK, now that to me is a good idea but of course the idiot brigade have jumped up in the air, several Liberal MP's including the leader suggested that this can't be done as it is against their civil liberties, what civil liberties?????, were they not involved in the killing of innocent people who were just going about their daily business, were they not involved in the beheading of the US reporter? do these actions constitute a person who has any rights to civil liberties?, can I say that anyone who commits murder of so many people who are still members of the cause they believe in have no thought to the heart ache they have caused so many families has without doubt forfeited their right to civil liberties in this country, they have kicked this country in the face, they have used our education facilities,  the NHS,  the benefits system and now expect to return to this country and carry on their life as if nothing has happened, well they have forfeited their human rights they should be stateless and thrown out of the country, we have to stop allowing the human rights brigade their blatant interference into this government policy,  the safety of people of the UK is paramount not the civil liberties of what can only be described as war criminals who have been involved in ethnic cleansing in the Middle East how can anyone justify the actions of these criminals??.

NHS

I have to say that how can the NHS be expected to pay for drugs that cost the earth, Cancer drugs come to mind, have you ever thought how much you and me have donated to cancer research only to find that the drug companies make a fantastic profit and because of cost the patient suffers, so why is it that we keep on paying vast amounts of money to cover research when it is the drug companies make a killing by charging an arm and a leg for them.

The cost of hospital treatment is becoming prohibitive, an operation now costs the earth as do recovery drugs, a stay in hospital might just cost all you have ever paid in for national insurance and possibly far more, the one problem for me is the quality of food, food is a quick road to recovery if you eat well good quality food you get well quicker, unfortunately many hospitals provide flash frozen food that is re heated on the ward, steamed they say!, that is if you call standing the plate of food on a second plate of water and a plastic cover and put in a microwave as stemming, this in effect ads lots of extra water to the meal so that it is swimming in fluid, not at all appetizing and of course tasteless often extending your stay in hospital, many elderly patients loose a considerable amount of weight some are to frail that this weight loss is not at all acceptable, but if you are putting rubbish food in front of them is it not surprising they have  this weight loss, the government has finally woken up and told hospitals that local seasonable food has to be provided, I have to say this is not before time!!!.,  

People Trafficking In the World

I am doing a course on human trafficking in the world today, so many young girls being traded and sold for the sex trade in the UK, boys in care being abused by people in authority, that was in the old days, people covered it up, trying to believe in their own minds that it was not really happening but of course it was, people in authority believed they were entitled to this protection, and they were safe because no one was going to believe that a young person would  tell the truth so it was all lies, 40 to 50 years on we have the same problem mainly with young teenaged girls, often in care, they feel unloved and not wanted, they are then groomed by a certain section of the male  community they being a member of an ethnic minority group, the police did nothing why? Political Correctness, authority did nothing why? Political Correctness, this is not a proper answer to the crimes that have been allowed to happen under their noses, the answer from the ethic minority are  claiming a witch hunt, a plot against their religion just about any answer other than OK you caught us out, it has to be time to listen to our children sex abuse is not on and any man who thinks it is should spend quite a few years in prison maybe then they just might realise the lives they have destroyed by their actions.
More and more people are being trafficked to the UK in containers no thought to the fact that they are all but air tight, these poor people are paying to get to the UK and no doubt have a debt to these traffickers, we have many trafficked for the looking after of cannabis farms, of girls being conned in to thinking they are going into jobs in fact they are put in to brothels throughout the UK, it has to stop somehow we have to sort this problem out, no one should suffer at the expense of another's profit, if you see it report it!!!!!, don't sit on your hands you can help stop this abuse of human beings!!!.

Human Rights UK

Is there some thing a matter with these silly people who immediately  jump on the human rights band wagon, Boris Johnson has come up with some new possible laws to isolate these religious idiots who leave the UK to fight for groups such as IS, where in heaven does the human rights act allow these young men to go abroad commit awful crimes against ordinary people like you and me knowing that if they should return to the UK these idiot people will defend them because of their human rights, well forgive me, if you should be a member of a sick group like this whatever these people say You Have Lost Your Right to the human rights act, I believe that on return to the UK their passports should be taken away from them including their British Nationality and refused entry to the country, then returned by the airline that that brought them here, but knowing the human rights lobby they will be welcomed back with open arms given their right to benefits and medical treatment, well do not ask me to welcome them back because I believe in justice and we now do not have the death penalty these people have nothing to worry about on their return, as usual we will wake up when it is far too late!!!!.

Iraq

Iraq, Now it has sunk to the lowest that you can think of, beheading a person who was just there to report the news, the killer it seems is British, we have to find out who he is, if not he just might creep back into the UK, I do not want to think that this man might just be free in this country, if he thinks that beheading a person is acceptable God help us, this is murder no less, for this he should loose his liberty for the rest of his time on earth to be spent in solitary confinement this treatment will not send him mad because he already is!!!, I think that if we can find him he should be sent to the USA and let him receive the justice that he deserves, I say that because we are hindered by the human rights idiots who seem to believe that the perpetrator of the crime comes before anything else, we can't have this happening by British people in the world today, if these young people want to live in this way and use unacceptable behaviour they should be told if they try to return to the UK they will be refused entry and be told that they have had their British nationality revoked and are not welcome here, they have lost any human rights that they might have had but by their actions have chosen not to live by our laws so are not entitled to anything that this country offers!!!.

Iraq

I had a idea as to why there is little interest in Gaza but silly me I forgot that Gaza has no oil so of no value to the West, on the other hand Iraq does have much oil so lets go in fast to stop the Terrorists killing many of the population, IS is a terror organisation that is trying to impose its religious views on a population that quite obviously does not want anything to do with them, the problem being that IS have the weapons to kill and destroy, they have no regard to life and death they kill at a will in the sickest manner possible, then when you look at Hamas they are nothing other than a terrorist organisation, have little care about the fate of the Palestine people, there main objective is to wipe out Israel, they propose to do this by sending in suicide bombers undercover to kill as many people as it can, how is it possible to talk peace with these people where they have no compromise in their background, they only have demands to put to the table, so the death and destruction will carry on, no oil but Israel is  very close to the USA so they have no need for World support they have the USA, this should tell Hamas that they can't win they do not have a hope in hell of winning this war, the only way to settle the conflict is compromise not hatred, the Gaza people should realise that they have backed the wrong team to help them to gain some semblance of a normal life, I hope that they wake up to this before anymore die but Hamas love to hate and they could not care less about the country they say they represent, compromise is the only way forward but I believe not a hope in hell.      

The Middle East

Iraq has now fallen into turmoil because of Islamic Extremists, first they call themselves ISIS now IS (Islamic State) just who do these people think they are, the guy from Cardiff tweeting that he has been watching the killing of captives, and admitting to atrocities himself!, beheading people, shooting them, raping women how can this be in the name of religion??, we sit here in this country merrily going along not giving the possibilities of what this just might mean for the UK a thought when these men slip back into the country, radicalised a massive hatred of the West especially the USA and of course the UK, they will always be a danger to us as they do not care a jig for us, after all we are a Christian country, look what is happening in Iraq today Christians having to run for their lives on pain of death, and a usual ultimatum of become a Muslim or die!, really a very nice group of people, now the West is looking at the possibility of suicide bombers making the possibility of death for people in Syria, Iraq and Israel the hated enemy of all these bigots, this country has fought many wars to allow freedom of speech and movement now we have a faction in this world who wants to take us back in development to the dark ages, is it time to wake up to this threat to our society? or are we going to bury our heads in the sand, if this is what is to happen I hope people will remember all the soldiers who died in two world wars to allow us the freedom of speech that everyone seems to be frightened to death to say what they feel, just in case they might be seen as a racist, so they keep quiet just in case.    

Gaza

I have to write again about this conflict, as I have said before what is the point of a truce when one of the sides just has to carry on the fight,  what help is this for the Palestine people?, you can't have a recognised terrorist organisation trying to force another country to accept its arguments, there is no room for negotiation just death and destruction, the people seemed to be really appreciative of the truce, went home to save what they could and to restock their food reserves, then all of a sudden someone fires a rocket into Israel and that is the end of that, just what did these maniacs think they would gain by doing this act, Israel will not give way, that is a known fact, they will carry on until they get to the position that they require, I have every sympathy with the Palestinian people, they have a right to live and to have peace, but they should never have used a terrorist organisation to obtain their ends, it is not realistic to expect these two groups to sit down round a table to make a workable truce, they can't sit in the same building let alone the same room so what is next, in reality further death and destruction  to the people of Gaza, the only way to stop it is to stop supplying weapons to both sides then they can't hurt each other but there is not a hope in hell of  this happening.

Gaza

Am I missing something here?, it seems to me that both sides are as bad as each other, one side agrees a ceasefire then the other side breaks it,often within seconds, you can't just keep lobbing rockets in to a country and not expect that that country to retaliate,my feelings are again with the innocent children what is the world coming to? it has to be accepted thatcchildren are the future of this world, it is no good feeding them with hatred against another race we all have to live together, one faction can't force it's will on another, death and destruction will carry on day after day just because pig headed people just can't sit down and work it all out once and for all, unfortunately it will not happen and the killing will carry on!!!!

Glasgow

I have been watching the Commonwealth Games on the TV,  I have been really pleasantly surprised the way the Scots have welcomed the rest of the UK to Glasgow, they can be justly proud of the support they have shown, I just wonder if this has any showing on the vote for independence, it seems that they are members of the UK the same as all of us in the joined up land that we all belong to, I just hope that the vote is to stay with the rest of us, and give that prune who has been behind this debacle a giant kick up the bum, him and his side kick, in all honesty to split would isolate Scotland, be out of Europe and worst of all be deprived of the pound, military bases would have to come back submarines would also have to come home to England, can Scotland afford to loose all of this income?, I think not the logical vote is No but logic often has no place in these things.

Ukraine

Just been looking at the pictures of the MH17, the local people hunting through the crash site, one girl put on Facebook that she was wearing eye makeup she had helped herself to from the crash site, how many more people have plundered the site?, just how sick is that?, Dutch unarmed policemen have arrived in the Ukraine but of course they can't get to the site till it is considered safe, yes OK but just what do the rebels think they are doing?, do they realise that they just might be charged with a crime against humanity in fact it is murder nothing else, they must not be allowed to hide behind "they made a mistake", that is just not good enough, I am certain that the governments of Holland and Australia will just not accept this excuse, unfortunately our standing in the World means that we seem to have no pull at all, sad that we have to rely on others in the world to deal with this problem, we will never really know just what happened in reality as the site has been totally abused and the forensics have gone with it, we shall have to see!!.

Syria

It is a great shame that the plight of the people and more specifically children in this war torn country, they are still dying, being injured, and made orphans, what is happening with the world today, so much death and destruction throughout the whole world, people dying in civilian aircraft, dying in suicide bombings , just what is the mentality of these people?, they really can't be classed as madness, it is just an evil mind no care at all about the people that they kill or maim, some have a religion! but no religion said to go and kill as many people as you can, the people who lead these believers to kill others sit in grand surroundings knowing that they are safe form destruction, others are nationalists who believe in their cause, but care little for the people who do not support them, their answer is death and destruction, we are living in a really sick world we have to hope that common sense prevails before it is to late, or is it already?.

The Comonwealth Games

I watched the opening ceremony yesterday on TV, I have to say I was rather disappointed with opening ceremony, it was not as good as I had been lead to believe, most were has been artists, and the whole thing just seemed to be a total mess, and the Scotland uniform was just a joke, blue shirts with insipid tartan kilts and shawles whoever dressed them should be thrown out on their ear, I have seen some designs in my time but this beat them all hands down.
So I wasted my time watching something that really did not entertain me at all, I just hope the closing ceremony is much better.

NHS

It  seems that my prediction on the NHS is coming true, I take no satisfaction  from it, many hospitals are suffering a cash flow problem, it came to light yesterday that if you should have a heart attack in Bedford you would not go to Bedford Hospital but taken direct to Papworth Hospital, the idea is to centralise specialisms in specific hospitals, so A&E in all honesty will only treat minor cases, this is not I believe for the benefit of the patient experience but to save money, you might say that well that's good but is it in reality??, if you are taken to a hospital some distance away from your home a main part of recovery will be missing, "family support!" is a major recovery requirement it helps no end, I can assure you that if you might find yourself in a hospital a long distance from home it can be very lonely, does not help with your recovery and is only happening to save money, patient experience is nowhere in site, young money people are involved in these savings ideas it is a pity that they do not take the patient first rather than money, you can only cut so much from services before you have nothing left, then what??.

Ukraine / Russia

I feel sick to watch the rebel troops in the Ukraine, sifting through the wreckage of MH 17, collecting everything that they could get their grubby hands on, they are foreigner's so?. Well we now have problems with the aircraft being compromised, if it is right that it was shot down (and there seems to be little doubt) where did the rocket come from??, was it Russian?, the US and the UK government are pretty sure it was then who did fire it?, where were they trained might it have been in Russia, is the launcher Russian military hardware? Most probably yes to it all, Russia should put up its hands and do everything it can for the families of the dead, one thing for sure you would have to twist a certain persons arm to the very top of his back even then he is more likely to lie rather than be honest.

Ukraine

Ukraine, someone has gone too far this time, whatever your complaint you do not shoot down civilian aircraft, there were 80 children on this flight!!!, that is just sick, what does Russia say about this it is the fault of the Ukrainian Government, I think that is just untrue, I notice on the news a rocket unit that is capable of bringing down an aircraft was quickly removed from the area back to Russia, and the flight recorder is missing, the report I heard said that it had been removed to Russia, why should that be?, could it be that someone has something to hide from the World, the Russian separatists were blatantly bragging that they had brought down a Ukrainian military aircraft, then all of a sudden quiet, says a lot to me, if it was a Russian Rocket that brought this plane down a certain person in Russia has a lot to answer for, he has interfered in the Government in the Ukraine, he has promoted violence not for the benefit of anyone other than himself first and second Russia, enough is enough time to get tough with him and Russia and let them know once and for all the World just will not accept this type of behaviour!!, I have no idea as to what we can do but we must do something for the dead in this atrocity.

Thank God the World Cup is over, it has worn me out so many matches just too much really, I used to enjoy football but I am a changed person, it makes me laugh that they call it the beautiful game, who's leg are they pulling, from the fist game to the last I saw cheating in a high degree, nasty vicious fouls total denial of the fact that the perpetrator was to blame but the Latin way of showing denial hands at the side palms facing forward the words and expression being "what me??" "no never!!" with just a little smirk behind the ref's back, I feel sorry for all the supporters World Wide who had to endure disappointment who had to see their team on the first plane home, all that cash to go and support them for what nothing, many of the players are earning what most people earn in a life time in a year if that, so why should they care, the truth is they don't they are not held to account just carry on taking vast amounts of money and no idea as to what to do with it,   

Le Tour de France

I love this bike race, but how can it be called the tour of France when it is in Yorkshire and the Eastern counties, it has amazed me just how many Bits have encompassed the Tour, the one thing that has irritated me is when the cameras go to the helicopter and show some British / English architecture they insist on using French language descriptions of the House / Church, I am interested in seeing what is dominating the English countryside but I do not want to be told in French just what I am looking at, I understand that they do this because there is a predominance of French riders in the race and the fact that it is a tour of France, so what riles me about this?, simple really if it was a British race in France they would not under any circumstances do descriptions in English, I remember not to long ago the French government removed all English words from the French dictionary, they do not like English and will only use it if really pushed, if they want to run the tour in England I would have hoped that they would have respected the English language as they expect us to respect theirs when in their country.

NHS

Looking at my emails this morning there is one warning me that the NHS is about to implode, the idea being put forward is to centralise services, so if you have a heart problem you will not go to your local hospital but to a specialist hospital in your area, you might be lucky if this hospital happens to be in your city, but if not you will have no choice but to travel, these specialist hospitals will cut back income for your local hospital, if there is no income they will have to close, is this what we expect of our health service?, the problem is that many of these decisions are being taken by younger people who do not have the slightest idea as to just how difficult travelling to distant hospitals is for elderly patients, and they do not it seems to take this into account. you can only wring so much savings out of the NHS and now it is at the point where all savings have been made without cutting services but if the government carries on that will be the next step, I have just spent some time in hospital and it was very noticeable the shortage of nurses on the wards, and with a shift of 12 and 1/2 hours it is not surprising that mistakes can and do happen, don't let the government not the opposition tell you that they care they don't, they are just cutting the budget to the bare minimum, you should be aware of this before you vote in the general election next year.

News

 Several things hit me today, it seems that papers alleging that there was a group of paedophiles in Parliament during the 70's, the home secretary at the time was sent the papers that the allegations were contained, the home secretary passed these papers on to his department officials to assess the allegations, nothing was ever done and of course the papers have vanished, that is a real surprise, so where do we go from here?, knowing civil servants and because lack of evidence, the people named in these allegations have got away with it, the sick thing for me is that these people if guilty have been able to carry on abuse of children all because of the incompetence of home office officials, the government should hold an inquiry into who actually assessed the papers and just what did he do with them after his decision, were they destroyed and if so why!!!, these questions have to be answered.

 

NHS

Now it has come from the horses mouth, the NHS just can't be sustained at the present cost, treatments are costing a fortune money that the NHS does not have, I keep hearing that it will be free at point of contact but I doubt that that can carry on, hospital trusts all over the country are recruiting nurses as there are not enough coming through in this country, most trained nurses come through university's why they need a degree is beyond me but that's where we are at now, I would have thought that we need more staff to care for patients not qualified people some of whom think that helping a patient is not in their job description, so do we need more of these qualified people, may be yes but we need more staff who actually look after patients rather than doing the paperwork at the nurses station, I hear of cases of people ringing for help but ignored for long periods of time, this behaviour has to be stopped, I know that there are so many caring nurses in the profession but some are not quite as caring, as a young person what do you do?, just hope that if you should fall ill will you be cared for how you think or are expecting to be?, reality says that a young person should with out a doubt get medical insurance you are at least then assured that you will get the treatment that you need, the NHS is beginning to run on dry it is a real shame that such a great positive institution should be in such a mess but that is what happens when you let government ride all over it, you can be pretty sure that the majority of MP's have health cover they do not rely on the NHS, they should be ashamed that they are systematically destroying the service. 

Tennis / Football

Tennis, I am at the moment suffering from sport overload, I am lost as to what day it is and what the date is, but I have seen some of the tennis, well it is amazing the "grunters" that abound this game, why is it that some of the players just can't serve or even hit the ball without grunting, does it make the ball go faster?, maybe I am not too sure.

Football, now we have the biting incident, there is no defence against it, there should be no appeal, but if one is allowed may I suggest that they increase the ban to six months minimum!!, there is no place in the game for some one who bites an opponent, the reaction of the player who was bitten was incredible!!, I have never seen such a performance in my life pulling his shirt off his shoulder saying "look what he has done to me oh dear!" I think that some of these footballers were trained at acting school before they are allowed to play, the main one is to roll over so many times it is like a death roll, they are so hurt that a two week stay in hospital is needed, but Oh they have recovered, I did notice the sly look that the player had to see if he had obtained a free kick and hopefully managed to get the perpetrator at least a yellow card, then the most disgusting act of all SPITTING, they do it time and time again, there is no need for it, FIFA should stop it happening, I notice very young children doing it in the street so where do they get it from could it be football? could very well be. 

Europe

So our PM lost, I really took offence at a idiot telling me the I needed to wake up to the benefits that Europe gives me, I am sorry Europe gives me nothing except an invasion of eastern Europeans that have taken the country over, our schools cant manage, our GP's are sinking under the strain, our hospitals are overflowing, so why should I wake up to that I already know about it, all the countries who dictate to us about immigration are countries where no one wants to go to, so very easy to make obscure comments about the benefit it is to us, I think that I have really had enough of being told by the European Parliament and the Human Rights judges just how England should be run, we are never likely to accept what Europe says are we?, after all we were at war with many countries over the centuries, the one sickening thing for me is that to express an opinion in the way I have done hear is to open myself up to allegations of racism, a thing that disgusts me no end, I believe that if anyone wishes to come to the UK and work fine, if they respect our laws and customs OK, respect us as a people fine but if they can't accept this they should not be in this country at all, all people who emigrate from the UK have to show the ability to support themselves and their families so they are not a burden on the adopted country, but not here, we have an open door policy allowed by the last labour government, the door is open and no one has the nerve to shut it because the human rights people would jump up and down like there is no tomorrow, if I should be around when we are allegedly allowed to vote on our membership of the EU I will without doubt vote we leave!!!. 

Sport England

Played three lost two drawn one, what a poor record for England, all the hype, all the watch these youngsters perform, but not a hope so tonight we have a totally different team, except for the three subs that were used, I am sick of seeing our players having to bow their heads and say sorry, well I think that the buck stops at the manager not the players, we have a second rate coach who's main claim to fame is that he once played for Manchester United, during warm up games chopping and changing the team just feeds depression, you build a team and keep it playing together, not eleven subs continually changing so none of them know if they are coming or going, the mistake was not taking on the logical choice of manager when they bottled out because of cost of his release from his contract with Spurs, he was the better choice and would have seen the team in a far better position than they are now, I just hope the management team give it up and go but I think that is pie in the sky, only two years to go to our next disappointment the Euro's,.

Sport

I have been smashed with sport for over a week, football the game of cheats, so many throwing themselves all over the place, making out they are hurt but then the sly look to see if the ref has given the foul then make a miraculous recovery, the ref surrounded by his team doing their level best to get the ref to show a card, this not the game of football that I thought I knew but I am wrong, and where does the word "simulation" come from why is it they just can't call it cheating? because that is what it is, tennis started today, just two men whacking a ball at each other as hard as they can with a loud grunt to start with, cricket I saw the test match this afternoon, a player knew that he had hit the ball and the result was a catch, out not a chance, the umpire got it wrong the player knew that there were no reviews left so he stopped where he was and carried on, blatant cheating, we are the daft ones at cricket because our players walk when they know that they hit a ball that was caught.

Why and where did these reviews come from??, we have officials to make decisions regarding what
ever game is being played OK so now and again they get it  wrong but that is just a part of the game, when you watch Rugby the ref will not award a try unless it is so obvious that there is no doubt but any thing else they immediately go to a video judge who then makes the decision for the ref and is not quick and wastes time, I would welcome returning to playing the games under the rules and the eye of the ref so stop using technology and get on with the game in the way it is supposed to be played.

NHS

So the NHS will be short of £5 billion in total next year, I am not surprised at that as the government has been cutting and cutting the NHS budget year on year, the promise that the NHS will always be free at first contact is not sustainable, GP's are taking a massive hit to their budgets, somewhere like 25%, with an increase of patients many from Europe and of course the health tourists, visits to a GP cost far more than you might6 guess, you have to take into account the fact that more patients mean more staff to deal with them, a home visit on occasions is costing the GP as what he gets for the visit often does not cover the cost of the petrol used for the visit, by moving different specialities out into the community means that the hospital budget suffers, if this is allowed to carry on you will have to get yourself health insurance because the NHS is not sustainable, the government is not going to support the NHS more than it is now, so the cost of inflation, moving specialities out of the hospital, having to cope with the massive influx of Europeans that overwhelm the A&E departments, means less and less in the budget, I see the day when hospitals have to become privately run operations charging the true cost of treatment, can you afford to pay? I think not so if you are able I would get insurance soon it might be too late later on, the NHS is a great idea but in today's day and age we can't afford it.  

Iraq

I think I just might have seen it all the USA and GB are to be friends with Iran or as Americans would say I Ran, we and the USA caused this problem by invading to depose Sadam we did that he has now departed the World, but the fighting goes on, ISIS think they are the number one in the region  but they should be very aware Iran is threatening to come over the boarder and evict them from Iraq, now oil now comes into it, what difference will that make?, quite a lot I would think, but the biggest problem for us all in the UK is just what will happen when these UK residents return to the UK??, I have made suggestions before and just maybe the PM has seen it coming with his integrate into the British way of life accept our values and obey our law or really leave, if the grass is greener in an Islamic state then go and live in one, do not bring your hatred back to this country we do not want or need it in the UK, some have happily taken our free education, our health services and in some cases our benefits  system, we have to be for once strong as a people, do not give in to the do gooders, we have to make a stand this is not acceptable in the UK we have to ensure that the lawyers are not allowed to defend these people their human  rights have been lost you chose to fight now stay away from the UK we do not want you here you are not welcome go away!!.  

Iraq

Well it has happened, Iraq soldiers murdered, executed what ever you want to call it, to march people into a trench and then shoot them is a crime against humanity and a massive war crime, but they are safe they know that the West is not going to intervene in this murderous groups terror activities, how can we allow any UK residents who are out there involved in this mayhem back into this country, any who do should be arrested and put on trial for war crimes, but of course our human rights lawyers would jump up and down claiming abuse of human rights, these people are killers or they would not be in Iraq, are we going to be a safe haven for this scum?,  no doubt we will be!!.  

Football

This is not about England but about the crazy carry on at the  World Cup, so many mistakes by the match officials, so much for the beautiful game, and the commentators leave massive gaps in the commentary, they call it "simulation" the real word is cheat, laying on the floor managing to roll time after time just to make sure they get the foul, they say "the slightest of touch" means in fact never got anywhere near him, but they just can't bring themselves to say it was a con, they spend their time making excuses for cheating, players waving make believe cards in the air when they are tackled, taking every opportunity to cheat to gain an advantage, Brazil has coughed up billions to put on this con and FIFA get all the income from the competition, that in its self is disgusting, but the often allegation regarding bribery that raises its ugly head and is promptly swept under the carpet by FIFA, football has gone from men representing their country giving their all  went out of the window when we got the Premiere League so much money sloshing about few clubs and greedy players I would never again pay to watch a football match.

Iraq

So the West is not going to intervene in the violence in Iraq, the USA and the UK are the responsible countries in this mad house, out PM and the American President decided to invade Iraq, now they have left and we have mayhem, the President says he will not send in army units, that's good of him now the ISIS insurgents know they are on solid ground the US will stay away so we are OK then we can act with impunity execute people on the side of the road just because of their religion or they just do not like your face, we will in the end suffer from this without a doubt, when these 500 UK residents return after being able to kill indiscriminately they are not going to settle down on their return, they will be a threat to the whole of the UK, of course we can't help anymore because we don't have an army of any consequence!!!.

Iraq

Islamic extremists are on the move, as are the people who will have to live under their control, an Islamic state, the insurgents include again many young extremists from the UK are involved, the intention is to grab several countries including Syria, now I am  told that Muslims want to live together, understand the other religions and this sort of behaviour is not preached under the faith, well I am sorry I must be a total idiot, but these extremists are promoting  Islam, and the people even if they do not want it will have to submit to Sharia Law, and be forced to live in a totally religious state, no room for democracy no free speech, I feel desperate for the future of the women who will all become chattels of men, have no right to a free life,  also why did we go in to Iraq??, why did soldiers loose their lives it seems for nothing at all, the Middle East is becoming a hot bed of Islamic loosely called fighters, but in my mind the biggest bunch of idiots that ever walked this earth, can NATO ignore this or the USA, I think it is too dangerous to ignore this problem for any length of time, someone is going to have to act and act fast, or are they all hoping that the Israelis will deal with it, they will not have this bunch of idiots on their doo4r step, so it looks that all hell is about to break out.   

Scotland

It has nothing to do with me what happens to the vote in Scotland regarding the possibility of them going as a separate country out of the UK, that's fine if they want to leave go and go sooner rather than later, but the Pound is something else!!, the Pound is the currency of the UK, that means the countries that are members of the UK no one else, the first minister of Scotland seems to think that Scotland has the right to keep the pound as their currency, but do we the rest of the UK have the right to decide this issue?, our submarines will have to leave Scotland  he says as he will not have them in his country, it just seems to me that he wants to take all the best things, get all the best benefits for Scotland at no real cost to him, I accept that but if Scotland becomes an independent country in its own right it does not have the right to use the Pound, in my mind if you leave the UK you have gone, I do not wish to know what you do, but whatever you do do not expect to gain benefits of the UK when you are not a member most of all do not expect to use our currency!!!.   

D-Day

70 years tomorrow we see the 70th anniversary of the landings that freed Europe from German rule, many too many British soldiers died in this landing as did US soldiers and Commonwealth soldiers, a massive undertaking by armed forces that is likely never to happen again, so many young men some as Young as 18 years old fought for freedom, for once the French are going to thank us for the help we gave in freeing France from German tyranny, it is great that the younger generation are getting involved in the history of both World Wars, I believe that this is important so that the sacrifice that they gave for their country is never forgotten, the D-Day association is finishing after this event as there are getting fewer and fewer men left alive from this conflict, we must remember them and make sure that the World never ever gets involved in a World War again, future generations must never experience this carnage ever again.

Slaverey

We are to have new laws regarding people trafficking, it has been known for years that this has been going on but little or nothing has been done about it, people forced to work for a pittance, girls forced into prostitution, so who is behind all of this in this country, I could make an educated guess but it would not be acceptable, the World around me has changed beyond all recognition, I can remember that it was acceptable to be out playing all evening as a child not now though, except for the kids on the street that their parents are not that much bothered about, young girls are in so much danger these days, it is frightening to go on the streets after dark, it is not that good in daylight, you just never know where it might come from next, what is happening in this country?, people trafficking, slavery what next?, someone needs to get this all sorted out, forget PC put the blame where it is and stop pussy footing about and do something!!.

Syria

So today is election day in Syria, President Assad is set for another 7 years, so just what have the jihadists managed, other than kill Syrians and destroy the infrastructure Nothing! nothing at all, the government will carry on armed by Russia and China they do not have a hope in hell, what they have now done is to stop anyone in the area they control from voting, I really feel sorry for the Syrian people who just wanted freedom from dictatorship but only got nasty vicious mercenaries, Hezbollah seeing their chance of a Islamic state charged in, as did so many others, it was a religious Jihad so I understood, so now we will have Assad reelected without a doubt, he will see it as a mandate to Carry on this murderous war one that in reality he will be the only winner. Children need to go to school, families need to be supported then let the idiots fight it out between themselves, it is not on that children and young people are dying because of stupidity, the country if it is not careful will have a missing generation if not two, I just hope that common sense prevails and these Jihadists realise that they can't win, it is not their country so they should get out and leave the country to recover before it is too late.

Syria

It looks like many UK residents have been in Syria fighting, for what is any ones guess, it certainly is not for freedom for the people of Syria, the chap who they think killed the Jewish people in Belgium is so the French say been radicalised, they say that when a person returns they are kept under supervision, well it has to be said that they did not do a very good job with this one did they?, just how many of these people are roaming about Europe? a few or many? we of course just do not know, just how much danger are we in day to day with these people roaming Europe and of course the UK, however small it has to be dealt with we can't have these radicalises jihadists running free in the UK, why do we allow them to return when we know where they have been and what they have been up to?, can I ask do they get their benefits back if they are out of work?, have we supported their family while they were away?, people who participate in war crimes should receive the justice they deserve, I believe that they should be refused entry and sent back to where they have come from, we are far to soft in the UK, these people are getting away with their actions! but British troops who should just bend the rules a little are vilified and taken to court, there is no real justice in this country, common sense has vanished from the vocabulary and day to day reality.

INDIA

We are off again, two young girls gang raped then hanged, just how does this happen? well they were in a lower cast so that is OK so men seem to think, the Indian government say that they will hunt down the men responsible and they will be prosecuted, that might be the case now but I would bet that if this had not been reported in the West nothing would have been done, this is a country that receives money from us the tax payers but have money to launch rockets in to space, but can't look after its own people, it is sad that some of these people in this country complain of racism but in their own country implement it against its own people under the cast system, the saying that people in glass houses should not throw stones comes to mind, this episode of another gang rape in India just shows how low these men believe that women are they believe that a women is subservient to man, this is just not acceptable India needs to take action against men who act in this manner and show that abuse of women is not acceptable and that if it continues the men involved will be locked up for a very long time, the British Government needs to tell India just how unacceptable this abuse is, and they have to rectify this problem now rather than later.
