Ukraine

The Ukraine just how long do you think that this will be this countries name? the little man in Russia seems to have the need for a full faced argument with the West, it is stupidity in reality, does not Russia remember just how many British Sailors died getting supplies to them the Arctic convoys springs to mind, it seems they died for nothing the way Russia acts in today's day and age, now we have a country that has been annexed or at least part of it has been, but might there be more ? that is the question, the West has to react strongly Russia has to be put out on a limb, their government ministers and many more have to be banned from the US and Europe, they should have their finances in Europe should be frozen, just let them see that we can put up a wall separating Russia from the West, just how a country can break the law and allow his troops into another country with impunity,  but they did not have the bottle to wear badges on their kit, thinking that no one would notice that they had Russian weapons which gives the game away a little bit, I see that a Ukrainian soldier was killed yesterday and one seriously injured, the Russian reply was not to apologise but to say that a Russian soldier had also been killed, bit odd when Russia says that their are none of their soldiers in the country, but there you go, a little man thinks he is a big man, so to lie is his way of Bullying the West and the people of the Ukraine, one day things will swing against him I hope that day is sooner rather than later!!!!. 

The NHS

Well I have to have a go once again, the government in their wisdom have decided that the NHS workers will not get a pay rise in fact hospitals round the country will have to loose staff, this is counter productive to patient care and more to the point Patient Safety, less staff means more mistakes, mistakes means often death of the patient, is that really acceptable in todays day and age??, in my mind not at all, if you are young you will possibly think what do I care, but you need to care, you will grow old, you will need the help of the NHS in old age I can assure you of that!!, I have bitter experiences of mistakes, mistakes that might not have happened if staffing levels were better, but now instead of promoting more staff in the NHS they have actually reversed this ideal, care in the community is I believe a joke it does not seem to work, or is it the idea that all illnesses will be looked after in the community?, just how silly is this?, is it any benefit to you to be seen some where other than a hospital?, I think not, the base line all over the world is that if you are ill you attend a hospital be that public or private, so moving much of the elementary work in to the community, just how that might happen is beyond me, it does not work, it is not in the least cost effective, and is of no benefit to you as a patient, if the service is moved out of the hospital it is income that departs fro0m the hospitals income, so what does it mean for you?, well you just might not have a hospital in the future, you might have to travel some distance to get services at a different location, I  have a warning for you., the Clinical Commissioning Groups are looking for a reduction in costs, they will commission services to who ever offers the least costly service, I might add that this might not be the best clinical service only the cheapest, you need to watch just what is going on with your health care it soon might not be at a NHS hospital, please, please be aware!!.

Ukraine

It is a mad situation really, the only reason that Russia is at all interested is because they think that they can spit in the face of the USA, they are not in the least interested in the Ukraine other than their fleet base in Sebastopol, they have disgraced themselves by their actions, Russia has invaded a country, there is no excuse for it, they have no right and they know it!!, they have not only invaded but have done it with soldiers who have no markings of country, they have surrounded legal troops and kept them locked inside their barracks, they have taken over airports and have suppressed the Ukrainian people in Sebastopol by setting up a Russian puppet government to enforce Russian rule, it is not acceptable in this day and age in Europe, I just do not understand the Russian mentality regarding their actions in  the Ukraine, they are now planning a referendum on Russian rule, you can be sure of one thing it does not matter how the vote goes the Russians will win democracy is not a word known in the Russian language, the leader of Russia is in fact a silly little man, he has no idea as to justice, freedom of speech the right to criticise the government, deviousness is a label that can be hung round the neck of Russia.     

Ukraine

Ukraine, Just what does Russia think they are doing?, the Ukraine is a sovereign country they do not want Russian interference, it is a real invasion of this country, worse thing is they are keeping the fact that they have invaded undercover or so they think, they have installed a puppet government in the Crimea, they try to make out that they are not there but they are without a doubt, the cold war is on its way back, Russia is saying that it will stop providing gas to Europe, that seems to me to be shooting themselves in the foot they will be the looser, Russia is also responsible for the carnage in Syria, just what do they think they are doing, a certain man seems to want to rule the World funny that little men always seem to want to dictate to others just because he is a black belt he fancies himself as a hard man, that does not mean he has the right to impose his will on anyone, would it not be nice if the world could live in peace, but while there are idiots in authority there is not a chance.

NHS

Are people aware that the Secretary of state is trying to get the authority to close hospitals, that means he will be able to close a hospital as he wills, it is sad that the attacks on the NHS come one after another, if you should be concerned (you really should be) you should join or at least look at 38 Degrees, this group fights for the NHS and has proved its worth time and time again, much of the NHS is being torn apart, we are so lucky to get free health care except of course dentistry where you can and often are ripped off for your treatment, my wife's last appointment lasted less than 3 mins  cost £18, and then you have a treatment say a filling and it falls out after a couple of weeks why is it that you have to pay to have it replaced?. why should you?,  do you want this sort of service in the future from who ever provides the health service, because it will not be run by the NHS much of it will be run by private companies, who of course will have a responsibility to their share holders not to you, beware.
