So A&E is in turmoil, what a surprise I have said it so many times that too many people go to A&E for injuries that are not so serious as to need the departments care, it has now gotten to epidemic proportions, so what should we do, well it has to be education of the general public, that will be a lot harder than you might think, for now maybe a TV advert hard hitting might be the answer but who knows, another thought is to have a GP in A&E who can deal with the patients who do not need A&E care, I think that this is a great idea and should be implemented country wide.
Europe?, I well remember the vote to join the common market not the big Europe that it is now, if at the time I had known what was to come I would never have voted "Yes". Do we want to keep pouring money into the EU that seems to me to have become a massive gravy train, I lived in West Germany as was during the 70's and workers were allowed in to work but as soon as the contract ends you are out of the country, no chance of living there many Turks worked in Dusseldorf but they had to return to Turkey as soon as the job finished, I am not at all sure this is the way that the new Germany operates but I would not be surprised if they still do this, we here all the clap trap about the desperate need for workers in the UK, why is that as we have 2.5 million out of work, look all round Europe and ask just how many Eastern European migrants settled in the rest of Europe rather than the UK, what is the attraction?, we are whatever the government says the soft touch of Europe, why would anyone try to get into the UK on the axels of a lorry if they had not been told that we are stupid enough to dish out money and to get accommodation so they line up by the hundreds desperate to get into the UK, and sooner or later they will find that lorry that has gotten through customs with out being checked, they will be in to disappear into the country side to go who knows where, we have to take a firm hold and make sure we have a balanced number of migrants, the gates have to be closed before it is too late.
