NHS

Over the past year I have spent several weeks as an in patient in hospital, firstly I was seriously ill and the nursing I received was second to none, but then the problems started that was the horrendous food served to patients, ordering roast beef and roast potatoes I received what is called "steamplicity" so I would welcome some one telling me just how do roast potatoes are roast potatoes when they are in fact steamed???, they were in my meal in fact white they may have seen an oven at some time but it must be just in passing as they can't have stopped in the oven for long,  but as all the food served has gone through the microwave steamer it is mainly dry, nasty taste and some of it unpalatable, it is not surprising that so many elderly patients loose weight while in the hospital, on my ward I was told that one patient had gone to the hospital restaurant for breakfast, dinner and tea each day because he could not stand the food,  I only wished I was fit enough too do the same but unfortunately I was hooked up to too many machines and drips to allow me to go.
Food is a form of medicine good food means quicker recovery rubbish food means longer recovery consequently longer stays in hospital, the problem in my eyes is the fact the some hospitals have companies that import ready made meals, then the wards if they should order a sandwich for a late admission costs £6 two slices of bread with just a little filling, the other problem is the fact porters working in my hospital work for a separate company not the hospital, so when you need to be moved it takes some time to get a porter allocated to the job, finally to be discharged means a long delay waiting for pharmacy to get the needed drugs for you and then there is the discharge letter, in my case told at 9.30am I could go home it was 5.15pm before I went out the door, spending many hours sitting in the  ward waiting room to be allowed to go!!, so from a patient point of view really good treatment totally let down by everything else it is so sad, I live in dread for the next time the ambulance is called and they say the words we are taking you to hospital, panic pervades!!!!.     

The World - Brexit

Another day in this mad world, we have so many people in the world today who believe they have all the answers, but do they?. sadly NO, Putin inflicting death and destruction without fear, who would stop him?, No one, so more and more will die because of his and Assad's craving for power, no matter who suffers, we should all remember this over Christmas, I weep for those poor kids shoe less, no coats or in a lot of cases no accommodation, can you look at your kids and think "could you allow this to happen to yours??".                                                

Then the SNP!!!!, just what does she think she is doing??, does she really think Scotland would be better off in the EU and out of the UK, if she does she does not have the sense she was possibly born with, it is funny just how people react to power, out the window goes democracy in its place demands or I will chuck my doll out of the pram, England and Wales just could not afford to have an EU country on our boarder, just remember free movement of people if you should decide to remain!, I think that a new wall might be needed across the England / Scotland boarder to keep illegal immigrants out of the rest of the UK, Brexit is here no matter what, so Scotland get on with the decision of the majority, the minority can't have a change just because they are not happy with the result!!!.

Brexcit Again

I see that the EU are behaving abysmally it just goes to show how constricted it has become, nasty Italians dictating to us how we may or may not leave, the reality is we voted to leave, it is not for the EU to throw the dolly out of the pram, I read that we will have to keep paying into the EU budget for years to come, why is that??, if we will not be allowed free trade and will not be a member why should the tax payer in this country pay in when we will not get anything out??, just shows what a bunch of crooks they are, much of what is decided by the EU is not logical in fact many times it has been stupidity only a fool wold suggest it but they do and force countries to abide by their decisions, I see it as an insult that many British people regard themselves as European, that is a problem in itself, we live in the UK we are either Irish, Welsh, Scottish English, and not forgetting all the people in the many island's around our coast, it is sad that certain people in Parliament just can't cope with the referendum, when you look about you can see in many places there is more work than before the Brexit vote, in reality we are doing all right, the only shortage that I have seen is land workers, at farms in my area, I understand just why people do not want to do the work in the fields, I have personally done this work and it is a killer, worse it was then for very low payment, this is why some farmers are so against Brexit, if it should be that the workers from the EU cant come to do the job the farmers will have to pay the going rate and that is not going to happen, I just can't understand why all this attempted disruption of Brexit is going on, to leave we need a common sense agreement, if the government is happy to allow underpaid workers into the country then surely there would be a way of allowing these workers in for a set period of time, what many people in this country do not understand is the vast millions of pounds leave this country every month to many countries throughout the world, that is money earned here but not spent in our shops meaning a loss of income for shops and a loss of tax to the treasury, time to sup[port the UK, the disrupter's should use their right to work in another country they might feel better and at least will leave us in peace.    

Brexit

I believe that Brexit will never happen, the government has no proper plans for exit, and to many are playing games, I see that the two monkeys have decided to join in Mr Blair and Clegg, they seem to think they are the only ones who can get the country back into what they believe to be proper state of affairs, well in all honesty they should keep their noses out Blair has cost this country a lot, so much money spent fighting in the middle east, the only thing he can hold his name to is the fact that he has disrupted the lives of millions of people in places such as Iraq, Syria  it is not only the financial cost but the cost in lives is astronomical, many of our soldiers have died trying to sort out this mess but it just gets worse, Mr Clegg has been shown that his party is not what it once was, he led them to defeat at the last election so why does he think that he knows better than the majority, as always he is a Politian and for some reason seems to believe that they are right and 17.5 million are wrong, I think not, they both might find it better to keep quiet and push Brexit forward not try to put fences in the way with the object of staying in the EU, it is not for our benefit but their self importance, the house of Lords are even worse they seem to believe that we the population are peasants and need to be led, we are people who just don't understand the world and need to be told what they believe  to be the right course of action, in their minds we are uneducated peasants and need to be told what to do not tell them that is just not on old boy!!.

 In reality there are so many who believe that it is wrong to leave the EU and will do anything possible to obstruct it, rather than accepting the majority they should in reality be ashamed of themselves do they believe in democracy ? they cant do or else they would accept the fact that the REMAIN CAMPAIGN LOST so tough, time to get on with your life and accept you are British not European!!! 

The World

Well I now know that the world has gone mad, but then again if you look at properly you can see that the people have had enough of the political leaders of so many countries, we now see that Trump will be the new president of the US A, then we have the result of Brexit both thought to have gone the other way i.e. Hillary and remain. but the people have said differently, what this means for the USA remains to be seen, will he be conciliatory or aggressive, in my mind possibly the second, it is obvious that the Russians have decided that consolatory is where they feel he will be, so the world has to be very careful because I think that the little man in Russia will take that as a weakness and is likely to push his luck, just look at today his aircraft carrier has been firing missiles and worst they are dropping barrel bombs on the Syrian freedom fighters as well as IS, he is determined to keep Assad in power to keep his influence in the area,   and he can do it because no one in the world will stop him just remember the Ukraine, it seems that the civilian airliner brought down by Russian rockets video evidence of the launcher entering the Ukraine and departing with a rocket missing, fairly clear cut in my mind, so where are we now?, sitting in the frying pan just waiting to jump into the fire, lets hope things get better for the world but I would not put money on it!!!!.

It is so sad that people like Clegg is so determined to block Brexit whatever it takes, now I read that another is going to court to say that the British people were lied to by the Leave group,  but even though the remain people told fibs as well he is not following up on that, that just shows the idiotic plans to defeat the referendum, the MP's voted 6 to 1 for the referendum to be put to the people now it has gone against what they expected they are sinking to the very depths to try to stop us leaving the EU, many say they see their selves as Europeans, not me I am English and Proud to be that, I do not want to be a member of Europe I am happy to belong to this nation of ours, the future will show the nastiness that has been involved in this peoples decision, they are people who believe that they are above us workers, they believe they know best,  they in fact live in a different world to the rest of us, they have no idea as to what it is like on the stgreets, they have no idea as to the poverty that some  live in, they can't cope with the fact that we the general public had the nerve to vote out, so they think it is their god given right to interfere and to go against the people decision, this just might be a big mistake by them and they might just get the rough end of the stick!!!.

So the judiciary have told the government that before they implement article 50 they need to have a vote in the commons to instigate the article, the reason is that we the general public would loose our right to appeal to the European court of appeal, I in making my decision which way to vote took into account this and I was happy to accept not being able to do this, and that it would stop some of these ridiculous appeals being herd that are in most cases rubbish. it is as I have said many times the rich with polotitans think they know best, but I think that this time they have gone to far, if the government's appeal fails should we not kick up a real stink making these money men accept that we the people are the employers we select our representatives, they make the decisions so really the only influence that an MP should abide by is that of his/hers constituents not the lobbyists business leaders nor unions  in making decisions regarding the people of this country!!, we the people have made a decision right or wrong it matters not democracy rules in this country and any one of the upper echelon should just remember that!!

Just how sad can the French be towards the UK, they just cant cope with us leaving the EU, they and the Germans seem to think that they are the big noise in Europe, that's fine by me, nothing more pleases me that we will not have to support France in future next time they cry help, we should turn our back on them, the past loss of men and financial cost to sort out Europe's mess has been a lot to bear as a nation, now we have a major problem with immigration instead of supporting us they turn their backs on us, they seem to have decided to make Brexit as difficult as they possibly can, they should hold their heads in  shame, they have just completed a deal with Canada but it seems that we would not be considered for the same sort of deal, I think that in time the EU will collapse under the weight of the Euro, Europe will change that's for certain, so many Eastern Europe have now been admitted and work together to get their own way against the Western states its just a matter of time, just remember all the death and destruction promised by the Remain Lobby, it has not happened and so many have egg on their faces but their stupidity is at the fore front and they still try everything possible to reverse the peoples decision, it is not for these people to behave in this manner defeat is defeat whatever way you look at it, it is such a shame that the media still allows these people the time on TV and the press to spread their bleating accusing the population that they do not know what is best for them, well my message to them is I for one do KNOW and look on you with the contempt you deserve!!!. So for Gods sake shut up!!!.

I see that that a company is moving its operation to may be Poland, or Spain, because possible immigrants do not  want to come to the UK for work, why? because of Brexit, I do not believe that is the case, I think it is the lure of more money why should people who have a job in the UK not be able to obtain a work permit, surely this is what some of Brexit was about, people in the UK felt  that unlimited immigration was not sustainable and that is my thoughts on this matter, but I have no problem at all with people coming to work in the UK if they have a post available to them, they are welcome as far as I am concerned , it is the people who arrive here with nothing, expecting to get money housing and all the benefits of a UK citizen, so  have no intention of working but just to do anything including crime, then come the children, no they are not!, having seen the photos and news  items on TV only a fool would say they are children!!, I love the excuses for them being children the best one for me is that they have aged because of the war in Syria, I think that is the daftest excuse I have ever heard, it shows that their is a problem with their ages when a 15 ft. fence was put up round the reception centre they arrived at, we were told that only children who had family in the UK could come, but that seems to be untrue, many are unaccompanied so what will happen when their  family then try to enter the UK no doubt we will take tem as well, I am told that cost of supporting these children is £46,000 each and local councils will have to pick up the cost after the government withdraws their support as they surely will, so just where will councils find the money to carry on the support from??, our council tax no doubt, so with the best will in the world can we as a country afford to take ?.

Why is it that some MP's think it is their god given  right to do what they want rather than the wishes of the population, now we see that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland want to be included in the Brexit negotiations, are they for real??, I know that Scotland are trying to rip England off getting far more of the share of the pot than anyone else in the UK, she wants to have Scotland's intention to stay in the EU at the fore front of the discussions, well that's not what I want nor the 17.5 million who voted to leave. The EU, we were not thinking about Scotland after all they had voted to stay in the UK, they did know that there was a possibility that Leaving the EU was a distinct possibility, so really they should give it a rest and let the UK get on with leaving the EU, it is a pity that so many continue to do everything they can to disrupt it , it is a shame that they are forever putting the UK down, when you think that Nissan are about to build their new car in the UK that says to me that we are doing fine they have confidence in us so why not our own people in business can't see the  future positively rather than the negative, I suppose Brexit is a very good excuse to blame for their own failings, sad really!!.  

IS in the Middle East

Iraqi, finally there is a movement to remove IS from the country, but it will not be easy for anyone to get rid of them, they will melt away  to come back at a later date in the Middle East or individually to cause mayhem and destruction in Western societies, just how many have infiltrated the refugee camp  in Calais is anyone's guess, just how many have got back into the UK?,  the tragic outcome as they are going in retreat they are executing whoever crosses them, no appeals just instant death and usually in public, so much for acceptance of others. the forces doing this attack are supported by the USA who are putting together air strikes, as this will take some time to subdue IS there will be a change of president in the US! just think of the possibilities this just might bring, if Trump should succeed god help the World, Clinton at least does not have a tag called IDIOT as does TRUMP, so the outcome of this offensive could change beyond belief, the one thing that is a fly in the ointment is that the people of Iraq are having to try and escape IS by going to Syria it must be horrendous for then to what seems like going from the frying pan into the fire, I just hope that they will be safe, but who knows just how the dictator Assad will respond!!

I have to say I am sick to death of Scotland's First Minister, I keep asking my  self is the women real??, the answer is yes she is real but it seems not in our world!! or should I say my World I do want to disrespect any of you, but democracy is not a word for the SNP or her, on the pretext of the UK leaving the EU she once again wants a referendum, why? to embarrass the PM, and for self gratification, the polls say that she would not win a vote but that matters not, she is determined to break the UK up, all their time I see her bleating for special treatment for Scotland, do the English really have to keep paying for their excesses??, or is it not time to put a stop to her stupidity, Brexit has to proceed no matter what she and the SNP may think or want, the majority have voted to leave so leave it is, it is also said that they will vote with others to try and block the bill going through parliament to start the process to leave the EU, its not now for MP's to try everything possible to stop the Exit it is their responsibility to act on the majority decision however they might feel themselves it is and was not their decision so if it does come to this vote it is for them to abstain they have no right whatsoever to vote against, and if MP's are not able to accept the public decision  then they obviously know far better than the 17.6 million who voted out in the referendum, so as they are at odds  with the general public view I suggest that they resign and lets have some people in who are whole heartily British in their place possibly then we could go forward in leaps and bounds.

I am back again out of the grips of the NHS, been very seriously ill so I have been unable to compose my blog, that has been a shame as so much has been happening but rather than go back I am restarting with today, it irritates me no end that Scotland just cant see which side its butter is on!!, I see today that the first minister is proposing another referendum to leave the UK, is she aware that the UK spends 20% more on people in Scotland than spent on the rest, of course she will  not tell them that, also their GDP is worse than Greece just how does she think she will manage if they were independent? only a fool would take this stupidity forward, and why does she want this ?, why because she does not accept the majority rule of the UK she is a person saying that she is leading Scotland into the future to prosperity, well I see that if Scotland left the UK with the intention of re-joining the EU their financial status just would not allow this to happen!! just when will she and the SNP wake up to reality??, I can honestly see Scotland going to the wall if another referendum is allowed, they have had one made their decision so democracy says that they have to stand by the majority vote not say that they will if it fits what they want or else it is invalid, well its time you woke up you are playing with fire and fire burns.                                                                                                                   

Hospital

Treatment
I have to say that I was taken into casualty on Friday evening I am told that I suffered acute heart failure I was on my own when I arrived but at some point my family were called in when I saw my son standing there I knew I in trouble as he needed to travel from Northampton felt so ill it was unbelievable my wife stopped with me in the ward overnight  this morning Monday I saw a cardiologist to be told that I am likely to be in for weeks rather than days so on many drugs bed  bound for sometime so I will be only doing this blog on occasions but I will do it when possible

Brexit

We are off again, the motor industry all of a sudden come out in the front telling us that because of the Brexit vote  the motor industry in this country might just fail because of costs, when will this scaremongering stop??,  when will these minions of industry stop bleating and get on with it, if you continually say you will fail as sure as eggs are eggs you will, so it would be best for the country to keep your mouth shut and promote the UK rather than this sort of comment, the Italian minister who it seems will lead the Brexit negotiations said that we would not get preferential treatment when we leave, I say to him did we ask for special treatment just a fair crack of the whip, now to reality, France is having major problems, Italy has two Banks who are desperately trying to off load toxic debts and are like to go bust, the Euro is not doing well on the world market, and the accusation is that the EU could well implode, Germany are desperate for us to stay as they are likely to become the biggest ATM in Europe, having to support so many countries desperately needing our help but we will be gone, so it just might be that we left the ship just in time, it seems that it just might be half sunk already, we shall see!!!. 

The Labour Party

So Mr Corbyn  has won for a second period, just how does the membership believe that this is a man to be PM of this country??, the policy's proposed would I believe bring the country to its knees,. and to say that they will give the unions more power are they mad?, I remember the 70's 80's I saw the strikes, I lived in London when the dustmen went on strike, I remember all the trouble at car manufactures, when you could buy a car that had a problem when returning it you were often told Oh! must have been made on a Friday afternoon or a Monday morning, what a joke, and now the Lady Abbott is stating that if you voted for Brexit you are a racist!, pardon me!!, just who does she think she is??, it in her mind 17 million people in the UK fall into this group, it is no wonder that the party can't get elected, I would not trust them ever with the finances of the country, it would be a one way trip to bankruptcy, I have watched some of the debates and it is plain to see that many do not agree with policy, and it makes me laugh that the shadow defence ministers CV says that as he was a reserve soldier qualifies him for the role, I server as a regular and we saw the TA as plastic soldiers who had no real idea as to the qualities needed to work in a team, so we just laughed at them. Watching this debacle I have to say things for the Party can only get worse far worse, under this leadership the Tory's must be rubbing their hands together in glee, what a farce!!. 

Follow up Syria

So many countries have come to their senses at long last, and for once hit the nail on the  head by accusing the Russians of war crimes, and so it should be, they stand with Assad and should be  brought to trial as soon as possible, it is the only way to smack it into the face of Mr Russia, mind you he would not give a dam anyway, why is it that he does not care at all about ordinary people? innocent people who are desperately clinging on to life, trying to cheat death, he should look back in history and remember just what happened to the people of Stalingrad when put to the sword in the second world war, they were under siege but by the grace of god survived many, many, did not, and now he is doing exactly the same to Aleppo in Syria, will the people of Aleppo survive as did Stalingrad?, or will it be smashed to pieces and destroyed forever? I can only see total destruction of the city, just  rubble surviving the onslaught, will there ever be enough money to reconstruct the city? I think not, the innocent people of Syria need to have justice  against the government of Syria and more so the Leaders of Russia  so the World should take action now not later!.

Is it not just appalling  that the Syrian and Russian air force can carry out 250 strikes in one day, how can that possibly be justified ???, it make me sick to see the death and destruction that is happening because of two despots who do not one iota about the civil population, it is disgusting that the Russians can and do act with impunity! they have absolutely not one qualm about attacking and killing civilians, and worse Children, and then have the blatant nerve to deny their actions, is it that to lead Russia you have  to have a degree in Lying!!!!, it seems so, , and neither can Assad tell truth from lie he is so deeply in the mire all he can  do is lie, but he is so pig headed that he refuses to back down, and he has no need to because  of Russian support, I believe that it is time to isolate Russia!, bring to bear sanctions that will let them see that they can't just carry on want, Just look at Ukraine1, they invaded a sovereign state ant what did Europe do? nothing in reality, we put on some small sanctions 6that are lifted when they assure the West that all is now OK and of course we back off, so off they go again and again, how can the West keep standing by and do nothing??, time for talking has gone time to hit them where it hurts, and some one has to kick Assad out of Syria before he destroys the whole country,

It is beyond my understanding as to why Assad and the little man of Russia just have to kill so many people by sheer stupidity, Russia spends all its time looking to bring down agreements they have with the USA, so that to them is far more important that the lives of people suffering lack of food, medical supplies, finally we get an agreement so off goes UNICEF to what? why? to be blown out of this earth by either Syrian or Russian aircraft, there is no excuse for such behaviour by anyone at all, evidence seems to actually point the finger at Assad, that would not surprise me in the least, he cares not one iota for the lives of his people just his own, and to make things worse he is well supported by Mr Russia, why is it that we can't as a free world stop this mad house, I am sure that the Syrians would love to have peace, would love to rebuild, but it is not likely to happen, so not only will the country be smashed to bits, many more will die, for in reality nothing, it is a pity that we can't bang a few heads together and settle the middle east once and for all but to many factions to many idiots, in my mind it is never going to happen, makes me sick !!!!!.

I believe that 17 million people voted to leave the EU, this included the limiting  numbers of immigrants   to the UK, that is how  I read it, but it seems some and I mean some have been on the streets of London demonstrating that they welcome refugees and we should open our doors to them!! What??, thought has to be given as to why so many are desperate to come to the UK, it is simple really, they are told the streets are paved with gold, they will get free money, a house to live in free health and education so is it not surprising that they want to get here?, but the majority are not refugees at all they are economic migrants, some that have arrived have had the nerve to demand accommodation and will only take what they want not what is offered as it is with the local population, millions of pounds a week are paid out to some of these immigrants who are here to take as much as they can, they have no intention of working, yes of course many are very hard  workers but in my experience not all of them, people in the UK should remember  that these alleged refugees have a very different life style to us, and their moral standards are not at all the same, so my advice to these demonstrators is to think about all of the problems that inviting people to come will have a massive  effect on this country, an effect that might just not be sustainable, I hope non of them start complaining  when they can't get a GP appointment, are unable to get a social housing property and are would be very lucky to get employment if many did want to work,. we are an Island, we do not have land to be used for housing, just remember we all need to eat!!, what about water, electricity and gas would those services cope, I think not they can't cope now without an extra population explosion, we have to live as a country on our means, and if we allow to many into the country we will implode, common senses has to come to the fore mark my words we will go down the Shute and the UK will be destroyed if we are not very careful!!!!!.

I see that the threats are coming from the EU thick and fast, it is just a pity that they can't accept that people in a country should have the nerve to decide to leave the EU, they just do not seem to comprehend that we are in fact are going our own way, the only answer for them is threats, and insinuations that we are a racist people, the man in charge of negotiating us leaving is anti British, so it has to be recognised that he will do everything to make life uncomfortable for us, then we come to the free movement of people just what is that all about??, it in my mid is freedom to take a job in a country is  where you have applied for work been interviewed and offered the post, not as what is happening here!!, we in fact have attracted some of the dross of Europe, they have no job and do not intend to work, they want hand outs and free everything, it is all right for the middle and upper class of this country saying it is not a problem but they do not live in the middle of a community that is predominantly European Nationals, they do not see the queue   out side the shop at 7am waiting to buy alcohol, and put up with the abuse thrown at them, certain parts of my City I would not go near even in day light let alon in the dark, so do not bleat on that we need to take more we don't if we are not very careful English will become the second language of the UK, don't tell me I am overacting to the situation I live in it daily, I see them repairing cars till 2am in the morning, chucking rubbish out with no thought as to what inconvenience they cause, and abusing the rules that we live by, I feel so sorry for my grandchildren having to live in this country with the mess we are in, OUT was right and the sooner the better!"!!

Syria

Syria, I cant begin to count the times as that I have done a blog about this savage disgraceful loss of life, again today twenty eight children have lost their lives, to the leaders of the world it is just one of those things, well its not, many of the problems that exist in Syria could have been solved years ago, but of course Russia intervened, the little one in Russia decided to support the dictator Assad and not only that they decided to attack the rebels who are fighting the regime for democracy,  so now we have a lull in the fighting to allow aid to reach the people in desperate need, not that it bothers Assad as he had bombed his own people with chemical weapons, jut how you can justify this is impossible, it just shows how desperate Assad is to hang on to power,  and Putin should be ashamed of his actions in this debacle, his intervention has only extended the conflict and many more have died because of these two's actions, we have to fight off IS that is acceptable because of their actions, but the rebel group are fighting on a different level, they want to see democracy in Syria they have had enough of being under a dictator, the world knows just what Assad has been u to it is not the first time he has used chemical weapons against his own people,  that is not the actions of a leader of a country but more of the actions of a despot, and Russia should be tarred with the same brush, the people of Syria should be allowed to have freedom but it seems that is impossible!!!.

Why is it that we have not started our exit from the EU, Ryan Air is going to move its operations to the EU, I find this a very good idea, the CEO has always been on his high horse about the way his company is treated, so off you go good bye I will not be missing you!!, so we should be getting out now not latter, so many countries having a go at us for leaving the EU, but I feel that is because of the clout we have in the world today, we are still a country to deal with and what is annoying them is that they will not be able to travel and work in the UK any more, well tough luck, it has to be realised we are a small island with problems with housing, education and health care, if more and more people come at some point the economy will collapse and we will all be in the bin, so the sooner we get on with leaving the better, the pound is lower so our products are cheaper so our exports are rising cant be bad for industry, do people think that the country will collapse, on what is happening now I think not, I am sick of the USA saying that any trade deal with the UK would go to the back of the queue they should remember the level of support we have given them in the middle east, not least the number of dead soldiers we have had to bring home, but it seems that Obama cares not about the British lives given supporting the USA's stupidity, many Europeans want to leave but their governments are to frightened to allow the general public the opportunity to have their say, in reality the EU is dying so it is probably just as well we got out before it sinks totally. 

Brexit Energy

Brexit, being green is the flavour of the month it seems, now I see that the wind does not always blow, just who managed to work that one out, reliance on wind farms is that when the national grid has a problem with the fact there is no wind they say that they are going to have to have systems attached to white goods so that they can ask a fridge to cut power so they can manage the power surges, industry as well who use vast amounts of power will need to be agreeable to this or what???, Europe has led us into this probable mess, we have spent a fortune on wind farms, they blight the land and the sea, the idea of free energy is a joke, the turbines are not able to work with no wind and of course don't work with too much wind, they have to close down and I would ask just how efficient are the turbines them selves? I am not sure they are as efficient as people would have us believe!, and in reality we can't rely on wind power for supply, then we come to solar power, I have been inundated by requests to put panels on my roof, they promos me free!! electricity during the day, that can't be! solar panels are worked by light so if I am getting free electricity during the day what are they getting out of it??, the fact is that when you allow them to fit these panels on your roof you are renting the roof out for 25 years, what might this do to the sale of your house if you decide to sell up and move, what if the incoming owner does not want to have them on the roof of their new house? it is very likely to be a deal breaker, it seems everywhere you look they are on roof's, it is a shame that some very lovely buildings have them filling the roof making them look out of place, we have to have power when needed not take a chance on if it is sunny or blowing a wind, we often have very still days and often blowing gale, the EU see this as a way forward I see it as stupidity, thank god we have gotten out of the EU, just may be common sense will at last raise its head. 

Brexit and the Economy

According to George Osborn the county was going to plunge into financial ruin, and he would have to implement a autum budget as he would need to fill a £30 million hole in the public finances, and he would need to cut his spending and that income tax would have to rise within weeks, so what has the new chancellor done, well nothing like this at all, so with all the accusations of lying levelled at the OUT campaign by the remain people were telling just as many fibs as anyone else. The treasury has just released figures that show that our borrowing has fell by £3 billion, they also recorded a surplus of £1 billion, they say that this allows us to be in a position of strength in the face of incoming turbulence, it seems that as we keep working to cut the deficit we are well placed to handle any challenges and are able to seize the opportunities as our economy adjusts, this shows that we are not going down a slippery slope to depression that the doom mongers of the IN campaign's propaganda tirade, retail sales have risen by 1.4%  in July despite predictions that consumers would tighten their belts but that it seems is not happening, could it possibly be that it is better for us to come out of the EU is it the best option for us all, I believe it is by far, it would be nice to see the pride brought back and shown regarding our English nationality, it is something to be very proud of!!!!.

It is stupid that the labour party would want to repeal the Brexit vote, in reality all this rubbish is doing nothing for this country other than putting it in a mess, so the £ has lost some of its value on the world market making our steel competitive in the market p[lace, is that good or is it bad?, it seems good to me and you can bet the steel workers are happier than they were, our exports are now cheaper so more demand, so at home we are still spending money, sales in retail have risen, and the Banks are having problems that matters not to me they have made buckets of money out of us for years so its tough they get no sympathy from me, watching TV this morning I saw a CEO who received £70 million in cash and shares for a years work, a year most of us would never earn this in  lifetime, so when these people tell me we are better in the EU than out don't be surprised that I am a cynical person and have a mind of my own, being involved in government locally I am fully aware of the games these people play and treat them with the disrespect that they deserve, we have far to many people in this country who think that they know what is best for us, I have news for them they don't!!!!.

Brexit Deportation of Criminals

I have just reached my 70th birthday today, and I have seen much in this country, I have watched it go down the hill during the idiot Mr Blair's premiership, I have been reading about the Westminster Magistrates court who deal with deportation, on a daily basis foreign criminals use the UK's legal aid  to claim under the human rights act!!!!, translators are needed on a regular basis cost £22 per hour, legal aid lawyers charge £50 + per hour, one of the used human rights act is article 8 "the right to a secure home and family life", so if you have left your own country to go to another and have been given a prison sentence then they appeal that the jails in their country are below the accepted standards, the worse thing is that our judges accept this, and uphold the appeal and grant the right to live in the UK, is that an acceptable situation??, I think not.
Why do we have a human rights act at all, it was introduced to ensure the welfare of people at the end of world war 2. and in most cases is irrelevant today, you can't allow a criminals wanted to serve a sentence in their country of origin or wanted for an offence, and it has to said that some are wanted for murder, rape, robbery, theft and much more, how can lawyers use the human rights act to allow these scum to stay, when we have a criminal who runs away we go mad to get them extradited, but in this country we pussy foot about and allow these law breakers to stop here and possibly commit more offences here.
I hope that Brexit plugs this problem, yes we should have an human right act in this country, but the lawyers and criminals should have no way of using the act to escape punishment, and the lawyers pocketing a fortune from the public purse, to many of us sit on our hands and do nothing, but for once the population voted for Brexit, here is the chance to strop this madness and stop the country leeching public money in allowing these idiotic appeals!!!    

Olympics

Well weeks of sport is coming to an end, the BBC staff have had a good free break in Rio and will soon be back to go on and on about what they saw during the games, and we the suffering public will have our TV's back to what might be called normal, I will say I am so pleased to see so many GB athletes oh not all of them are athletes, sailing, swimming and shooting  to name but a few, we can be very proud of them, I was so pleased to see the USA athlete in the 200 meters did not qualify and so justice ruled, how some one who has been caught using performance enhancing drugs not once but TWICE and he is still allowed to run, I would not allow it personally, but some of the associations have just bottled out and allowed cheats to participate, my wife was always glued to the TV watching the athletics, but no more when I asked her she said she can't trust any of them, a bit harsh on the clean competitors but she just dose not believe any of them now, it is sad to say that I am waiting to see if any of the competitors fail the tests at the games, personally as a bit of a cynic I am expecting some surprises but who knows, I just hope I am wrong, I have to say I am not belittling team GB I have a lot of faith in them and respect their efforts, they are a credit to this country, and I mean England,  Scotland, Wales and Ireland the United Kingdom, it has to be remembered that in four years time Team GB might just be England, Wales and Ireland, that is if some certain person in Scotland,  again try's to get another referendum to leave the UK!!, she just can't leave it alone!!, it just struck me the saying "the wicked witch of the North", it is a well deserved title!!!!.

We now have one in six jobs being done by migrants, 5.4 million of the work force of 31.8 million, can this carry on? the population voted out and that was brought about by peoples worries about immigration, it seems that the most dramatic rise is by Romanians and Bulgarians, their numbers have increased by 45% a total now of 276,000 people these numbers have to be decreased soon we have to gain control of our boarders, if we are not careful many thousands more will chance their arm and arrive here and we as a country just can't cope, I have no problem with people coming to the  UK to work but many of the people coming are not educated so do not have much of a chance of getting work, many spend their time on the street causing problems for the police and the population, too many people argue that we should allow even more people into the country, that is just mad! we can't cope now, the strain on the education system is at breaking point, and the NHS ha no chance at all, so many young British people are unable to obtain social housing, how is that? much of the accommodation  where I live has gone to foreign nationals, and rented accommodation is non existent for many because of cost and to immigrants, so now we have so many people who you would expect have a right to this type of accommodation?  homeless in sheer desperation having to often live in very unsuitable accommodation they are often told to take unsuitable accommodation is take it or leave it!!, so they are in between the devil and the deep blue sea, that is not I believe that we should treat our young people, what life are many of them going to have, lack of proper accommodation, money and food, it is no wonder that some of our children are becoming un educated because of the way that their parent are made to live is not at all conducive to them gaining high education.
It is time to sort it pout!!!! now not in a few months soon.

Brexit and the NHS

I have spent a lot of time as an a hospital inpatient over the past 18 months, so I think I have the knowledge to comment on the fact that we are consistently being told that we have to import nurses from not only Europe but the World, we are told that the NHS would fall apart without them, is that true, the big question is why are our qualified nurses are choosing to leave the profession?, some emigrate to get better pay, some just leave the NHS and join an agency because the agency pays better than the NHS, so we  have these foreigner's taking their places, it is sad for me as I have difficulty understanding them as they do not speak English to well, I have been looked after by Russians, Romanians and al points east, they do not understand my name and are unable to say it, they have often made mistakes with my medication and |I have had to correct  them. it makes me laugh that when discharged and are asked to fill in a feedback form patients just put in that they were satisfied with the treatment they received because they just want to get the hell out of the hospital, and some are frightened to say anything just in case they have to be admitted again and they think that it might be remembered and the service they get the next time might be worse, so  we have  to import nurses but would it not be far better to train more nurses in this country and for once pay the nurses a proper wage  so that they do not need to leave the NHS and we will have a proper service.

Now we have the BBC investigating Brexit and the reasons why the vote went the wrong way as far as the BBC is concerned, they in my mind can search every line possible to make an excuse for a leave vote, now it matters not what they think it is of no relevance, why are they speaking to Mendelson he has a lot to answer for when labour (Blair) was in power, he influenced Blair as did A Campbell, why do we need to have spin?, what is it in reality?, I think it is a made up story with little or no truth used to try and influence the voting public, the problem being is that so many believe the spin so it is used more and more, it is a nightmare really  because as it gathers speed more and more lies are produced till no one really knows just what the truth was at the beginning, it is in some ways like Chinese whispers, but with a reason for the original to be added to and hyped up, the people who believe that they are the responsibility to rule us just  can't take the fact that the general public had the nerve to vote out when they had told us to stay!!. Reality for these people is very hard to take and they are beside themselves with the result and will try anything to reverse the decision, they need to shut up and get on with the majority if they do not like that they could emigrate to some other country that needs to be bullied as the don't know what is good for them!!, I would welcome any of them who decided to leave, I would happily wave them good by !!!!.

So the Olympics are up and running, people breaking world records by big margins,  with all the problems with drug abuse it makes you think!, may be I am doing some a disservice but I am anti athletes who are  caught using drugs should be banned for life none of this slap on the hand and reinstated in a short time, I was watching the swimming to  see that a Russian had been banned not once but twice, how is that?,  why was he even allowed to race it is a slap in the face to the other swimmers, it is not acceptable that this has been allowed to happen but of course the IOC have got no bottle they are frightened of MR P, they just dare not do anything to upset him so they passed the buck to individual associations for them to decide, they in turn bottled out and so we have convicted cheats being allowed to complete, the Russians just have to win no matter what, they see anything done against them a persecution by the west, they just can't accept evidence of their dastardly deeds, all drug abusers should be banned for life! no messing about, one appeal then out you go never to be allowed to complete  again, so it is with deep suspicion  that I have been watching the games never being sure that any of the athlete's are clean who knows????.

I see in todays press that a baroness is trying to get the Brexit result overturned, what is it with these people?, are they just stupid ?, or is it the old adage we know better than you, I just wish these people would give over, enough is enough we have had the vote so it is for the House of Lords to keep their noses out of it, god knows what damage they are doing with all these comments, the EU knows full well that they need to trade with us no matter what, why are people so worried about people already living in this country, can it be that the government will throw them out, I think not, and aa far as workers to work in the fields in this country would it not be possible for them to be seasonal works, come and work during the need for them then they return to their country of origin,  now please do not tell me that that is racist as I lived in West Germany  during the 19070's and there were what was known as "Guest Workers" they worked on a contract and when it was finished they went home or found another contract, many British  builders and other workers from other countries so why can't it work here?, all these things have to be considered, but some people have to realise that one and a quarter million people voted more than the IN campaign, Brexit was and is the vote we do not need pompous people who sit in the Lords to try and change a decision made by the people, they are un elected and should remember that!!!.

So you do not have to be hard working charity worker, or a person who has given their all fund raising, or any thing that might be construed as giving something to the community, but no! you just  have to be a fashion advisor or any sort of crony that was a Cameron lackey and you receive an honour, all sorts but some who were supporters of the IN campaign in the EU referendum, that is sickening state of affairs,  it has belittled the honour system, future people recommended for an OBE or MBE would only see the  fact that being given the award by royalty as the only thing worthwhile about the award, I think that this list of his has destroyed the system and belittled the honour awards, only people who deserve one should be put forward for consideration and not just have one persons pick their best buddies its just not on!!!!. 

USA GUN LAW

Just what is happening in the US, so many carry guns and seem to use them, it is ridiculous that people can by weapons that are usually used in the armed forces, what madness is that?, it seems in the US you can buy any weapon you chose with no restriction, guns might have been some thing you needed to carry for your protection in the what was called wild west!, wild it was and death could arrive at anytime, but now it is supposed to be civilised but no anyone can and does run around killing people at will, mind you most end up dead as the US police do not seem to like prisoners they seem to be above the law, but worst of all the government are not able to stop the carnage as the gun lobby is too strong to stop the mayhem, how can members of the house of representatives fail to protect the people, even the President can't do it. so on we go now |Austin in Texas more killing when will it ever end?. 

Thoughts

Looking over the week so much has happened that it sends my head spinning, watching the mad man Trump perform at the Republican Party mad house, it make you wonder just what is about to happen in the USA?, will he win ??, in my mind I would run for cover if he does!, then we have Hillary Clinton, every one I have seen being interviewed seem to hate her, so what will happen in the world if either of them get in?? I dread to think.

Then the Russians have been allowed to go to the Olympic games in Rio, not all of them though some have gotten the treatment they deserve and been told they are banned, so a small ray of sunshine, talking of Russia I see that Mr P is again interfering in Syria, his forces are not killing the IS mad men but innocent people living in squalor, eating hand to mouth and having very little medical treatment they are dying by the thousands!!!, but Russia still keeps on bombing these poor people.

It is so sad that so many terrorist attacks are being carried out in Europe, we had it now it has happened in France and Germany, but I have to say that the police on the continent take no stick and dish out the same as the terrorists are dishing out to the population, no messing about they deal with the situation as it is then  dealt with there and then.

Electricity, we need new sources of power that is a fact, EDF decided to build a new station to provide 7% of our needs, the contract was waiting to be signed, EDF decided to go ahead and the government jumped in and said they needed time to look at the contract, a bit late for that I believe, but saying that EDF is a company owned by France and some of the funding was to come from China?, a reactor was to be built that is brand new and there is not another one working in the world today!!, so when you look at it do we really want to have France having more of a stake in our energy needs, do we really want China involved??, and do we need a reactor that has not been tried and tested??,  So in retrospect just may be it is a good idea to wait and look at it again.

How is it that so many Russians have now been caught out using performance enhancing drugs not only that but it was promoted by the Russian Federation, no doubt that means that Mr P was well aware of the situation !, it is proved that his people were well aware of what was going on, so what happens?, in reality nothing at all, that IOC have let down the athletes who are clean, how can the Games have credibility? who knows what is going on I for one will find it difficult to trust what I am seeing, I will be very unlikely to accept world records as they often come back and smack you in the face, in fact these athlete's  who take drugs will carry on till they are caught knowing full well that the punishment is in reality miniscule and then they are back again, why is it that people who cheat at sport are allowed a second chance??,  over the years we have had horse racing fixes, football and cricket matches fixed the common denominator is betting i.e. cash, there is so much money in sport that the criminal fraternity rub their hands with glee, while  so much cash is floating around there will always be the idiot who takes drugs to ensure winning, I have to say if you take drugs in sport and are caught the only punishment is to be banned for life, then you will never cheat again.

Europe

It is just so sad that so many have died in what can only be called terrorist attacks, terrorist attacks based on religious dogma, what benefit they get out of it is really nothing but becoming despised by the West, but then in the Middle East they will be declared martyrs, makes no sense to me at all, I had a religious upbringing but never ever been told that I would be a great martyr by killing innocent people, people in most cases who have given you or your parents freedom, possibly an education and what do you do? bite the hand that helped you and your family, I believe that it is time that the clerics who preach hatred and violence against man kind should be arrested and deported from where ever they are, how can we sit and have PC say that we have to allow freedom of speech, freedom of speech is not for despots to sprout venom, death and destruction against the West, it is for people to express a view on a subject, but never have I heard anyone in the UK speak in that manner so human rights and PC at some point have to be dropped in favour of logic, people who threatens our society have no place in the community and it is time that action was taken to remove this cancer religious or not!!!!!!.

The Prime Minister

I have been very worried aboput the actual competence of Teresa May as the PM, as she did not support Brexit, but she has responded positively, she has cleared out the Cameron Crew out of the cabinet, she has set up her own team and just having seen her performance at PM's questions she is a different person to what I expected, she was forceful and very competent and made Labour look fools, I just hope her meeting this afternoon with AM the German chancellor goes well, she says that the UK will not be pushed in to leaving the EU but we leave in our own time, nice to hear an MP putting Britain first and foremost, I see that all the financial predictions before Brexit were wrong,  but I have to ask just how did all these mistakes be made by so many very competent people who had all the information at their fingertips but managed to get it wrong, now I have to say with this in mind the allegations of telling lies levelled at the OUT campaign seems to be  a lie in its self as without a doubt the IN campaign were telling fibs just as much if not even more so, it just shows me that the faceless people who think they rule the country would go to any ends to ensure that we stayed in, but many of us saw the bull S**t  as it was and voted to get out, and in all honesty it seems to be the right decision, the retribution we were told to expect has not happened, shares have recovered, the pound is starting to do better and Japan as just invested £24 billion in purchasing ARM, they propose to stay in the UK and in fact are looking to expand the operation and many other businesses are doing well so lets go forward and become Great again!!!!!.

SPORT

How sick is it that the Russian Federation set up false Drugs tests for their athletes  a the winter games, it does not surprise me one bit, Russia just has to be first no matter how it is done, if the Russian government decides that they were to win they would have to win no matter what, Mr P can't abide the West winning anything so every way possible has to be found! to fail is not an option, and as usual the Russians always have an answer and never under any circumstances admit wrong doing, but if you look at all sport there are cheats, football, cricket, horse racing to name just a few, so we have regular drug abuse knowingly or not, in all these sports the one thing in common with them all is money!!, betting, people knobbing horses, footballers throwing games. and one of the worst throwing a boxing match, greed is the sparkle that makes people cheat, it has happened for 100's of years, the difference is that Russia systematically allowed athletes to take performance enhancing drugs not just one but all the team, Mr P and his people should hang their heads in shame, but you can bet your bottom dollar that lie will follow lie and admission will never happen, just look at the whistle blower regarding this drug abuse has had to go into hiding in the US because they are frightened that he will be assassinated, what a World   

Scotland

I have to ask as to just why do the Scots hate the English so much??,  in my mind it is time to forget the history between us, and just get on with it, the past means nothing now it can't be changed we need to be a forward looking people, whatever our previous generation did or might have done matters not now it happened and is over, we might have been a bullying nation many years ago but it is not for this generation to carry any burden of guilt, Scotland and the SNP are not looking forward but back-wards, the illustrious NS is so hate full to England! she is determined to destroy the UK come what may, she wants without doubt her cake and eat it, referendums that do not answer the way she wants she discounts them and proposes further referendums, and she will keep on doing it till she gets YES as an answer just what she will do with her life then is anyone's guess, she says she wants Scotland to be independent, just what benefit will that be to Scotland?, she says that the UK exit from the EU has had a bad effect on the Scottish Universities loosing them students, this might have been happening anyway just maybe Scottish Universities might not be as attractive as others in the UK, there is so much more at work in the world to bother about the minuscule complaints that she bleats on about all the time, it would be better for Scotland if she joined in with us and make Great Britain the Great country is was not so long ago and will become in the future!!!!!.

The NHS

I just have to ask how is it that health tourists come to the UK jump the queue and then go home without payment to the NHS, what are the management doing about it seems nothing at all, the report I read was about cataract operations costing £2500 each eye, on arrival it seems that it is considered that these Tourists have cataracts that are need to have an operation, and then they jump the queue!!, leaving many British people having to wait months before they get theirs, I had my first eye done last September 2015, after 6 weeks  I had to go to Specsavers to see if I needed my other eye done, this is after I saw a consultant who during the appointment told me I needed to have my other eye done as well, so why did I have to go back to Specsavers??, they had to refer me back to the hospital for the eye to be done, as I had one eye done my glasses were no good, so the only option was that for 4 months I had a pair of glasses that had a lens in the eye needing doing and nothing in the eye that had been done, I can tell you that it is so very disorienting,  unable to drive and great difficulty getting about, I did understand that the second eye would be done inside 8 weeks but it took 20 weeks, could it be that the delay was because of health tourists??, I have no idea but it answers many questions!!!!.  

The UK

It must be a hell of a time in Westminster at the moment, TM might well make a good PM but a walk over is really not on, once again the top few have decided who should be in charge of the country with no contest at all, it seems to me that there are people who we never see but have a major effect on out day to day living, so do we really know just what will happen to the country in the future, then just look at the labour party, my god I have never seen such stupidity in my life, they have a leader that the MP's do not believe in, who has had a vote of no confidence in his leadership, the majority of his shadow cabinet have resigned, he can't fill the spaces left, his deputy will not support him !! but still he trundle's on ignoring everything happening round him, so now there is a challenge to oust him, so today the supporters of his leadership (general Public) have thrown a brick through the window of the offices of the MP who is challenging him, just what is happening why is it that the membership is determined to keep him in  no matter what, even if it means that the labour party self destructs and vanishes of the face of the world, mind you if you want to win an leadership contest the membership are most important and as you can be a member for £3 it is not surprising that idiots have control, the unions of course love him fort some reason I saw LMc going on about what a wonderful person he is and that may be so but he is in no way a future PM or a leader of his party, if he is not very careful there will be no labour party to lead!!!!. 

Election of the PM

The out vote has meant that DC has decided to depart from the lead roll, so we have two contestants both female which I believe is a benefit to the country but it is very difficult for me the accept that one was in the leave campaign the other in the in, how can we have a PM who did not support thr leave vote, it can't or should not happen, I see reports in the press that TM would in the future either fail to implement article 50 or call another referendum!!, it is aggravating that the very elite or so they believe are so very upset that we the people have said OUT, they want IN and will push forward any candidate that would conform to their wishes, they just did not accept that the population should have the nerve or cheek to actually make a decision that the majority made, don't tell me it was close 1.25 million is a large majority, it is sad that many sat on their hands did not vote and are now joining demonstrations against leaving, but it seems that these demonstrations are confined to London, not the East, North or Wales so is it not time for the media, MP's and all the other people spreading doom for the country get on their bikes and start pushing this country as the place to do business, if Easy Jet want's to leave then go but don't go on about it, the Banks who want to go go!! just look at the press and see just what is happening to the Euro it is starting to collapse on the world market, Europe itself is possibly likely to implode itself, just remember the EU changes its HQ every six months at what cost?? do you really want to carry on seeing your taxes going to this waste of money??.

I now read that AC the Blair spin doctor is behaving as he always did covering up with really nothing in particular but what he says is like throwing a blanket on the fire to smother it, I feel that it is strange that he has come out of all this with no mud on his face, there has to be something wrong there, he manipulated the media fed them a load of rubbish to cover up just what Blair was up to, it is sickening that even when blatantly caught out these idiots still try and often manage to bull S**t us as if we are stupid enough to believe what he says, if TB is charged with anything AC should stand in the dock with him, does any one remember Mr Kelly the weapons inspector?, he knew!, he tried to say that Sadam had no weapons of mass destruction, so his name was given to the media and the poor man committed suicide, I also seem to remember that the way he died was not in the minds of the medic's a probable way to kill yourself, we do not know what happened but we do know that he and hundreds of soldiers lost their lived all through what can only be called lies, it is said that the report on Sadam was not sexed up, are they joking??, it is blatantly obvious that we were led in to a war that was no business of ours and most definitely have no benefit to the UK, it is time for the liars to own up lets remember they have blood on their hands !!, can we really stand by and let them get away with it???????.
 

Iraq

So finally we have it the long awaited report into Iraq War, I am so pleased to see a real report rather than the usual whitewash, we finally know that we were in fact fed  lies to enable TB to go to war backing the USA, Sadam had no weapons of mass destruction at all, but that did not matter to TB had made the decision months before no matter what we would support the US in an invasion of Iraq, I know  as a former soldier that it is usual not to have the equipment that you need so soldiers had to buy it their selves, that is a disgrace on its own, but them we have vehicles that were not compatible for use in the conditions to be found in Iraq, soldiers were put at risk in these vehicles how can the  TB have allowed such a situation??, now we arrive at the report and it I believe condemns TB as not conforming to international law, failing to discuss the matter with his cabinet and making sure that dissenters were kept quiet, I saw him make his statement on the News it made me sick, I have seen people lie and lie well but he just was what I would call a creep, he is a disgrace that he ever held the post of PM, and as for his spin doctor AC he as well is a disgrace and should receive retribution four his blatant untruths and his and TB's inability to accept that they are responsible for the death of so many fine soldiers, the middle east problems all arise form this PREVENTABLE WAR, Syria and the whole of the region is destroyed, the worse thing the children are suffering beyond belief, and the world does nothing it seems when will it all end?????.

The Referendum

The whole saga regarding the resignation of the PM, the Labour leader being destroyed by his own MP's, he refuses to accept an overwhelming vote of no confidence but will he go ? not a chance, then we have the executioner Mr Gove, you really would not want him as a friend because you would be always looking over your shoulder for the Knife!!, the queen in waiting Teresa May, nice lady but has she the ruthlessness that she will need to sort out the mess, then then there is the fact that she supported the In Campaign, so how can she lead the leave process?, then there is George Osborn where has he been over all this time?, talking to the banks it seems and financial institutions, I seem to remember him standing telling us that if we should leave he would have to implement an immediate budget, now he says he is holding back on it, so in fact it must have been a fib to frighten the population into voting in, so the in people demonstrating now saying that the out people were liars seems to me to be sour grapes, the in campaign promoted lies and hid facts, democracy says that the majority rules, 1.25 million to me is quite a large majority, I just wish these people who all seem to live in London should shut up and accept the situation as it is we are a Great country and still are Great and will carry on being Great whatever the in people should say!!!!.

I have just about had enough with all this crap from the remain campaign, when will they realise that it is over we are out of Europe and no amount of demonstrating will make a scrap of difference, it is odd that the demonstration was only in London a few thousand people, they of course blame the elderly, is that totally true are there 17.25 million pensioners in this country I think not so who else might it have been??, could some of the young or middle-aged actually voted to leave it has to be, so I live in the East of England just about every vote was for out, there is a very good reason for out that a lot of people believed that we are becoming overwhelmed with migrants, some places overwhelmed, the local population have problems getting doctors appointments, unable to get housing, no jobs, difficulty getting children in to school so is not at all surprising that they voted for out, when you look at the UK vote the remain did well in cities that have university's, our young people who have never experienced real life, have no idea as to the rules and laws we have been subjected to by faceless minions in Europe, and worse still the European Court can and mostly does over rule the judges in this country, we had to accept the movement of criminals to this country, we have no idea if they are murderers, rapists, or robbers, I am not saying that every one from Europe is a criminal but we seem to have imported many from every eastern European country, the galling thing is that when released even when the Judge stated that the should be deported they appeal to the European courts and are allowed to stay whatever we say, the reality is that we have voted out and that is the end of it, if the media carry on putting the country down it will not be the vote that sinks the UK but their incessant carry on putting the country down, it is time to shut up and lets get on with our new life!!!!!!!!!.

I have been disgusted with the BBC regarding their ongoing coverage of the referendum, they just can't leave it alone, why are they still asking people how they voted?, why are they allowing politicians to say that they will promote a second referendum? allow them to pull down the out people trying to make them look stupid, I seem to remember when Cameron resigned he said that the new PM should be from the out group, so then we have Teresa May stay group, Jeremy Hunt stay group, then we have Boris Johnson leave, so in reality he is the only one acceptable, the problem being that the two remain would once again have a referendum that just causes more problems than it would solve, if the government is not very careful the country will be spinning round going nowhere, I think that it is time for acceptance of the situation. Stop putting the country down, this is Great Britain we have been here for hundreds of  years, we have twice defended Europe in two World Wars, which country was at the for front of the war in Iraq who lost hundreds of soldiers in the middle east conflict US the UK our men our women, just how much support did the rest of Europe provide, why not a lot, so we are better on our own, we do not need to have to get involved in World conflicts let us get on with life, live for this country of ours not worry about what is going on the continent, we need to go forward, at the moment to many people especially the BBC are promoting backward looking events the past has gone never to be repeated, we are leaving Europe so get on with it!!!!!!.

I see today that her highness Nicola Sturgeon self styled queen of Scotland has decided that the result of the referendum means absolutely nothing to her, Scotland I believe voted to stay in the UK some moths ago, defeated I think she was or am I missing something?, now we have this time a UK wide referendum the leave Europe people won that outright, so it is binding on all members of the UK, but of course I forgot Scotland is different it seems, England and Wales voted to leave the EU, Scotland voted to stay, so that means to the queen because they voted to stay the vote does not count for them, why not I ask?, Scotland is a member of the UK so I believe that for that reason they have to abide by the decision made by the rest of us, she and the Scottish people just can't do as they like, we are a democracy not a dictatorship!! mind you she seems to be a very good candidate for dictatorship, it is about time that Scotland behaved responsibly and conformed to democracy they had a chance to leave the UK but they didn't, now the vote has gone against them! so accept it, shut up and get on with the situation, you are supposed to be British you use the same money as us have basically the same laws it is just so sad that one political party can be so intent in breaking up the UK , to me they are an embarrassment.

The Referndum

Well it is all over now, and I have to say I am relieved, the clap trap of the last two months has been a real nightmare, it has to be said that bot sides were as bad as each other, now it matters not what you voted it is time to get on with it, I have to say I think the BBC has for some reason better known to them selves spent hours and hours on the result, all we need is the result I just want to know what it is, I do not need to hear defeated remain politician's bleating on and on about the result, I also do not need to hear the out supports crowing about the win, none of it really matters no one knows just what will happen to the country but I really hope it will be better out than in, not for me but my grandchildren, I know that the elderly population were mostly leave, the young are now insulting us by complaining that we the elderly have destroyed their kids future lives, what a load of crap, age does not matter a vote is a vote age of the voter matters not, it could be that the elderly understand what effect the European Union has done to much of this country, I remember when a young person you could get quality fish but now these vast fleets of trawlers have vanished from our shores, so many sailors finished, boats having to be sold for a pittance, many more rules and regulations have been implemented that really do not benefit this country, we have to get on with it and I think that things will turn out far better than they are now, the future has to be seen but I feel that we are now Great Britain again not a state of Europe, I look forward to seeing if the other countries throw their toys out of the pram it will be interesting to see.

The EU

So the decision has been made at long last, but now out of the woodwork comes Gerry Adams and Nicola Sturgeon, they seem to not be able to accept a UK wide vote to leave the EU, the fact that this country is a democracy and the majority decision is the rule, but of course the SNP as always will stamp their feet and gnash their teeth and then chuck their toys out of the pram, it is a fact the leave campaign has won the referendum and with 72% of the electorate voting, so it has to be accepted, I now see on the News that the SNP want another referendum for independence again, it makes me laugh that these MP's in Scotland just can't accept the decision, and request for another referendum on independence for Scotland should be refused and the door shut firmly in the face of the SNP, then we have Gerry Adams!, who is he to say that Northern Ireland should join with Southern Ireland?, sour grapes seems to be the response, I have had to endure all sorts of crap this morning, Keith Vaz near to tears when being interviewed, we have voted out and it has to be accepted by the government and get on with it!!! and get on with it now.

My Blog / UK Drivers

I have just noticed that my Blog failed to appear as I had constructed it, I have no idea as to what happened to it, I was saying that one of my pet hates is drivers not indicating where they are going, especially on very busy roundabouts you have to play a game of Russian roulette to get across, so many drivers oblivious to any other drivers, the worst offenders I have seen are Taxi and white van drivers, also we have the mad men who have to undertake just because they just have to get by at any cost, then we have young ladies putting on lipstick, combing their hair and often texting, it is a mad world on the road now, pouring with rain most drivers think why should I  put my lights on I can see very well, well maybe you think you can see well but can you really?, lights are supposed to be put on for the benefit of other drivers on the road so they can see you!!, park your car in a car park then find that some one has hit your car causing damage possibly broken lights or a lovely dint, there was a day when people would leave a note to say they had done it with their name and address, now ah well what a shame I did that I am off home to have a cup of tea why should I let them know it was me? no one saw me so not to worry leaving you with the cost of repair, I could go on and on but it just depresses me to do so!!!!!.

Well here we have my pet hate !!, the inability of drivers to indicate just where they intend to go, it is not surprising that there are so many accidents, in my experience may be one in ten do indicate,  the most just go on their merry way not giving a toss for other drivers, white van man and Taxi drivers are the worst followed by young women, I have seen them putting on lipstick, combing their hair and worst texting, also I saw a young man driving at speed wearing headphones that can't be right can it?, I hate coming to a busy round about because you have to take your life in your own hands, it is just like Russian Roulette, you take a chance and just hope you will be OK, but sooner or later you will fire the gun and you are in the middle of an accident caused solely by some one else's ignorance, then we have pouring rain and very few put their headlights on in fact often not even the Police, I give up I could go on forever  but it just stresses me out, so that is the end of my rant.

Football

I have been watching the football on TV over the past few days, now the England supporters have a lot to answer for in the streets of France, drunk and fighting everyone and anyone they just never learn, but watching the England V Russia Match I have to say the Russian supporters were fully to blame for the nasty happenings in the stadium they  charged the England supporters at the end of the match, but who gets the blame of course the England supporters, the French should hold their heads in shame as they did not really segregate the crowed and showed little if no police presence, the paper say that the Russians have been training to cause disruption on a massive scale, witnesses say that the Russians pulled up scarves over their faces and some wore masks, some had knuckle dusters how was that allowed to happen, the French now say that they can't prosecute any of the Russians because they could not see their faces that must be the lamest excuse I have ever heard, surely they could be identified by their clothing, if they are not able to do this the police officers need to have their eye sight tested, just because a few England supporters misbehave the law abiding ones still have the right to be protected not thrown to the dogs, just maybe  because the police were at home watching the Football on TV, the government should let the French know that their policing of events is just not good enough, you have to laugh because the UK said they would send some police officers to help out, in my mind that makes the French police incompetent, has this anything to do with our possibility of leaving Europe???? who knows.

Immigration, I see from the press under a freedom of information rules that one migrant is caught every 6 minuets, a total of 84,088 a year that is just the ones that are caught just how many manage to get in? it must quite a few, watching TV the Boarder Force makes me laugh they catch an illegal immigrant interview them then release them on bail, and guess what they do? they do not return they just vanish in to thin air, how can you expect them to return to answer bail?, there must be thousands that are roaming this country but no one has the faintest idea as to where they are, surely if some one who is in this country illegally they should not be allowed bail at all and should be kept in custody till they are removed from the country, I know it is not easy but the laws should reflect the need for custody when these people are caught, it is totally stupid to allow bail as anyone released would run and melt into the population, working illegally and who knows what they need to do to survive, we need to act responsibly when these people are caught deal with them quickly and deport them rather than stupidly give them bail, time to grow up!!!!!.

I woke up this morning thinking what's on the News, and what do I find the government web site to register to vote in the referendum crashed last night, people had up to midnight to register, it seems many watched the program quizzing the PM and Nigel Farage when it finished many tried to register and now people are asking for an extension to register, now it has consistently been on TV telling us we have to register by the 7th closing at midnight, so if you were stupid enough to have waited till the last two hours it is your fault, but as normal some wait till the very end and then complain because they could not get through, well more fool you, you had a 101 chances to register so don't bleat  when you were daft enough to wait till the last minuet you have no room for complaint,  in no way should an extension to register should be given, a given time is a given time so those who missed it have only themselves to blame.
