Peterborough City Council

It has to be said that Peterborough Councillors and the Council itself are seeming to forget that the care of the elderly is their responsibility, you can't abdicate it, anyone involved in social care from the Cabinet to the director of service (and I deliberately leave the D in lower case as that is what the job deserves), they are a disgrace to put people in fear and to believe that all the elderly are computer literate is for a start idiotic, the people who are at need of care most who had to live through World War 2 to allow us freedom, they lost their mums and dads some their sons and husbands, and what do today's councillors do Abuse them, I have thought many times what life might be like when I became a pensioner, well I am there now and I can assure you that in this city it is becoming a real nightmare, I should remind the councillors involved and the officers that what goes around comes around so beware you will be old soon it comes all of a sudden and then you will be on the scrap heap then you will find out just what it means to be old!!!.
