NHS

Its Friday morning and its 6.30am time to get up, had breakfast then the consultant appeared, his first question was why are you not on the cardiac ward, how would I know!, so off he went, the day dragged on till 3pm when I was sent for an echo cardiogram told that it was good reading so taken back to the ward, had tea, then told to pack my bag I was being moved to the cardiac ward, packed my bag got in the wheelchair and then had to get out as there was no bed, this happened twice more by then it was 7.30pm, the nurse then told me that I would not be moving that evening, so unpacked my bag once again and settled down for the night, at 7.50pm a porter arrived telling me I was being moved to the cardiac ward, I then lost it and refused point blank to move!!, a consultant and a matron were sent for to try and convince me that it was in my best  interests to move, but I was having non of it, but finally gave way and was moved at 8.30pm, the cardiac ward was no different to the short stay ward, but I suppose it must have been a better option for me, of course it was Friday evening so no doctors about, so another day ended.
